Prominent Mexican voice actor Alexis Ortega has died at the age of 38.
Ortega's cause of death was not immediately announced, TMZ reported.
Ortega had worked on Latin American versions of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, the most notable of which was Spider-Man for 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which he voiced the role of Tom Holland's lead character.
He previously played the role in 2016's Captain America: Civil War and reprised the role for 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, El Mundo America reported.
Other notable voiceover projects Ortega worked on included Star Wars: Rogue One, Finding Dory and Big Hero 6, the outlet reported.
Ortega was born on August 31, 1987 in Mexico, according to the outlet.

His career in show business took off in 2013 in both on-camera roles and voice overs, El Mundo America reported.
Among the onscreen roles Ortega appeared included Luis Miguel: The Series, Thursday's Widows, El Candidato and The House of Flowers.
Ortega had also been working with MrBeast on a Spanish adaptation when he died, the outlet reported.
News of the tragic death was initially reported by the portal World Dubbing News, according to El Mundo America.
A statement posted on the portal Monday read: 'We regret to announce the sensitive passing of voice actor Alexis Ortega, we send our condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues in this difficult time.'
A number of fans posted memorials on X in response to a post from Cartoons On The Moon announcing the tragic passing.
One user said in response, 'R.I.P. Alexis Ortega. Thank you for bringing characters like Tom Holland's Spider-Man (up to Infinity War) and Tadashi Hamada to life in our language, as they marked an entire generation.
'I send a lot of strength and solidarity to your family and friends during this such difficult time. '
