Katie Price and Peter Andre have publicly confirmed their bitter war of words is over as they attempt to create a 'calm and supportive environment' for their children.
The former couple married in 2005, little more than a year after meeting as campmates on the third series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
They would go on to welcome two children, Junior, now 19, and Princess, 17, before announcing their abrupt separation and subsequent divorce in 2009.
Price, 47, who recently confirmed a surprise fourth marriage to businessman Lee Andrews, and Andre, 52, have since revealed the acrimony that followed their divorce has been resolved.
The announcement marks their first interaction in 16 years, with the former couple insisting they now intend to 'close the door on the past and move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect.'
They added: 'We are both focused on creating a calm and supportive environment for our children.
Katie Price and Peter Andre have finally called an end to the war of words that followed their bitter divorce to create a 'calm and positive environment' for the sake of their children
Price, who recently confirmed a surprise fourth marriage to businessman Lee Andrews, and Andre have since revealed the acrimony that followed their divorce has been resolved
'We have reached a mutual agreement, both legally and personally confirming that neither of us will speak negatively about the other going forward.
'This decision reflects a shared commitment to our family and stability. We want to stand united for our children.
'We are hoping this is a start of a positive relationship. We ask for understanding and support from both the media and the public as we move ahead.'
Andre previously claimed Junior and Princess lived with him for "their safety" and admitted staying silent on their personal situation has been "frustrating" over the years.
In a message posted on Instagram in 2025, he explained: 'For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating.
'That ends today. The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight.
'For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.'
He added: 'In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.

'In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today.
'Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.'
A spokesperson for Price told The Mirror: 'Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. "Kate will no longer be gaslight and bullied as she once was.'
Appearing on Paul C. Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast in 2025, Price recalled how the Australian singer ended their marriage after convincing himself that she was having an affair.

Speaking in 2025, Price recalled how the Australian singer ended their marriage after convincing himself that she was having an affair
She said: 'We broke up because he thought I was having an affair with my dressage rider, and I've never slept with him. I just kept my horse there, and I was happy keeping my horse there, and he was married.
'But when me and Pete split, because he used to keep saying, "That's it. I've had enough. I've had enough".
It got to a point where I went, "Well f***ing divorce me". And I remember the day, because then I flew to the Maldives with the kids.
'That day, I'm at the airport, it's all on Sky News, it wasn't mutual at all. And then I redone a statement saying I don't want to split with Pete, it's Pete that's splitting with me.
'Until this day, me and Pete have never sat down and spoken about it.
'It's all through lawyers. I've never sat down with him, we probably would've sorted it out but we were kept apart.'
Devastated: Amy's new memoir details her daughters relationship with Peter Andre, she claims her daughter became a 'sacrificial lamb' in the celebrity marriage
Price also claimed her ex-husband - who achieved commercial success with hit song Mysterious Girl in 1996 - had struggled to deal with her success outstripping his, and declared that she 'made him'.
Appearing on Anything Goes with James English, she said: 'When we did jobs together I'd always get more money, make sure we had separate contracts.
'I think he found that a bit hard as well. I was like well hang on you've just turned up in the jungle, I've already got a career going on.
'You had a song like, how many years ago? you need to earn it. This is the truth, I don't care what anyone says. I made Pete again. I made him.
'He was no one before he went in the jungle and that's the truth, that's not me being a b****. He had that one hit, like ten years ago and I think he forgets where he came from.'
In 2023, Price's mother Amy accused Andre of using her daughter to further his own career.
Discussing the singer in her 2017 memoir, The Last Word, published after she was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, she wrote: 'I've lived on the sidelines for years, forced to sit back as lie after lie has been printed about my daughter.
'As I approached death, I thought it was high time I speak up and set the record straight.
'My daughter is no angel, but she became a sacrificial lamb in a celebrity slaughter the moment she paired up with Peter Andre. He wanted to be rich and famous, and my daughter unwittingly became part of the plan.'
Amy claimed Andre 'saw an opportunity' by coupling up with her daughter as his 'career was in decline'.
She wrote: 'From the word go, something didn't feel right about Peter; I had an inkling that he wasn't who he claimed to be.'
The former couple's daughter Princess previously discussed the impact of her parents' tumultuous divorce in her ITV2 reality series The Princess Diaries, admitting she felt she couldn't 'go to her dad' after he split from her mother due to their dislike of one another.
Following their split, Andre went on to have two more children with his current wife, physician Emily McDonagh.
