Sandra Bullock looked downcast while stepping out for a rare outing this week.

The 61-year-old actress was out running errands as she carried a YETI lunch box in Los Angeles on Monday morning.

This comes following news that Quinton Aaron, her former costar in The Blind Side, is 'fighting for his life' while in the hospital on life support.

The Oscar winner kept a low-key profile, wearing a brown baseball cap and oversize aviator sunglasses during her outing.

She put on a casual display and was bundled up in a taupe bomber jacket layered over a white top.

The movie icon looked effortlessly stylish sporting a pair of wide-leg, medium-wash jeans for her version of a classic and casual outfit.

Coordinating in neutral tones, she carried suede slip-on shoes and a brown, shoulder bag.

She was also cradling a hard-shell YETI case in her arms as she she was pictured walking through a parking lot to go to her next destination.

Just one day earlier, she emerged on another rare outing with her 12-year-old daughter Laila for a birthday party in Culver City.

The mother-daughter duo's excursion in Los Angeles came just one day after her former costar's health woes were revealed.

Bullock previously starred with the actor, 41, in the 2009 sports drama with Aaron portraying NFL offensive lineman Michael Oher while she played Leigh Anne Tuohy.

It was recently reported that Aaron was hospitalized and has been on life support as he battles a severe blood infection.

He was rushed to the hospital after his legs 'suddenly stopped functioning' and he collapsed at his home in Atlanta last week, his manager told TMZ on Sunday.

At the time, his manager said he's 'stable' and 'communicating with his family and team.'

According to a GoFundMe page set up for the actor, he is 'critically ill' and 'fighting for his life.'

His doctors also reportedly found a rare cyst on his spine and are running a series of tests to determine whether it is benign or harmful, per TMZ.

His family told the outlet that he may have to undergo back surgery for that reason and would potentially have to undergo 'extensive physical therapy.'

His family also said that back surgery could possibly leave the actor 'confined to a wheelchair' for the foreseeable future.

On Monday, the star's wife Margarita Aaron also shared an update and said he had been experencing 'mysterious neck pain' prior to his hospitalization.

She said her husband, whom she called a 'very strong fighter,' was intubated 'because his breathing was a little sporadic' and was 'still on antibiotics ... to just cover whatever the issue might be with regard to his blood,' per Fox News Digital.

Following her visit with him on Sunday, she also said that he is 'making significant progress' every single day with 'little moments where he's moving his fingers or trying to open his eyes.'

'Although he seemed like he was a little lucid, he was not very responsive,' she continued.

Over the weekend, Aaron's manager as well as his wife shared updates about his health condition as they revealed he has been hospitalized and battling a severe blood infection

'I did at least get a thumbs up out of him when I chatted with him, which was promising. At this point, the endotracheal tube or the breathing assistance that he has is not doing all the work, thankfully.'

Back in October, Aaron told Fox News Digital that he experienced a health scare that prompted his 200-lb. weight loss journey and overhaul his life.

'I had this come-to-Jesus kind of moment a few years back,' he recalled.

He said he was sitting and meditating at 'this waterfront' in Mandeville, Louisiana around 2021 when he suddenly fainted experienced a near-fatal fall into the body of water.

'There's one day I'm sitting there on the wall, and I'm just listening to the water vibe, and then I wake up underwater,' he recalled. 'So I literally passed out, fell off the wall, and it was like a 12-foot drop, but the water was only three feet deep. I didn't know that at the time. Well, thank God it was three feet deep, because I can't swim.'

Aaron said he 'literally woke up underwater' and 'didn't have a chance to take a breath and brace myself.'

He added: 'When I woke up, I was submerged, and I just felt this pain on the back of my neck and shoulder from going down. But while I'm underwater, I hear this voice say, "Stand up."

'And so I stand, like I start trying to get to my feet. The water is pushing me into the rocks, and I'm kinda like hitting my head up against something. I don't know what it was, but I can't see, because the water's dirty brown.'

He managed to climb out of the water and was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors conducted a full-body examination on him and discovered that he had an infection in one of his big toes that had spread to his bone.

He said his doctors later told him that his fall may have been caused by diabetic ketoacidosis.

Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious condition that develops 'when the body can't make enough insulin,' 'causes a buildup of acids in the blood' and becomes 'life-threatening' when high levels of blood sugar are present, per the Mayo Clinic.

'I was in the hospital for a few weeks getting IV antibiotics,' Aaron shared. 'I almost lost my toe, but thankfully I didn't. They just cut a piece of it off, and it had to heal.'
