UPDATED with Wolf Man event canceled: The Los Angeles premiere for Amazon MGM Studios’ movie Unstoppable starring Jennifer Lopez and Jharrel Jerome was canceled Tuesday due to the Pacific Palisades fire, Deadline can confirm.

It is the first notable Hollywood event tonight that has been nixed amid severe Santa Ana winds in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Several homes have already been destroyed in the Pacific Palisades fire, which started around 10:30 a.m. this morning and has grown to 772 acres as of 2 p.m. in the area of N. Piedra Morada Drive near The Highlands.

Later in the day, Universal canceled its Wolf Man world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood due to the fire and high winds.

Eastbound Pacific Coast Highway has been closed at Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Eastbound lanes of PCH were also closed at Las Flores Canyon Road, according to LASCD Public Information Officer Tuyet Alcala. Traffic was being diverted on the Santa Monica Freeway at Lincoln Boulevard to keep people from entering the area. Sunset Boulevard at Palisades Drive was also reportedly impassible, with firefighters potentially using the thoroughfare as a firebreak. Vehicles left on Sunset and Palisades are being bulldozed to make way for emergency vehicles.

Unstoppable hits Prime Video on January 16.
