Teyana Taylor Debuts Silver Hair Transformation Ahead of 2026 Oscars
Teyana Taylor is turning out one fashionable transformation after another.
Indeed, the 35-year-old debuted a new look during Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel fall 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week. Stepping away from her signature dark brown pixie-mullet, Teyana rocked a chic silver-hued bob that was the perfect complement to her look for the March 9 event.
The “Hard Part” singer allowed her hair to stand out, as she wore a white and black pattered turtleneck dress by the fashion house, layered under a clear raincoat with tiny red accents and matching slingbacks.
Teyana’s latest fashionable outing comes just days before she’s set to attend the 2026 Oscars. The One Battle After Another star is nominated for her first Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actress category for her performance in the film.
In the run up to the biggest night in film, Teyana—who shares daughters Iman "Junie" Taylor Shumpert Jr., 10, and Rue Rose, 5, with ex Iman Shumpert—has turned out a series of head-turning looks from Schiaparelli Haute Couture at the Golden Globes (where she took home the Best Supporting Actress trophy) to Burberry for the BAFTAs.
For one of her most jaw-dropping looks to date, the Oscar nominee actress wore a custom trompe l’oeil corset look by Thom Browne during the 2026 Actors Awards.
For the occasion, Teyana had a “very expensive stylist” on hand for her big night as Rue joined her mother on the carpet to adjust her train. What’s more? Sharing the moment with her daughter filled her with emotions.

“It’s just crazy because I start to zone out,” the A Thousand and One actress told E! News on March 1. “Because I just get to starring at her, even on the red carpet, she stood on the dot by herself and I see all the lights, flashes going crazy and I think it’s me. And I look over to the side, it’s her.”
As for Rue’s take on the evening, the tiny stylist brought her mom to tears with a pep talk before heading inside the ceremony.
"I wanted to say," Rue began as she took Teyana’s mic, "this is such an honor for me being here, and I wanted to thank you guys for my mom and this wonderful day, and all of y'all outfits look very good. And I'm mostly saying this for my mom."
"This is actually such an honor," Rue added, to which her mom replied, "This is such an honor to be here with you, baby."
