A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he's an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, '70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, '90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they're good, and maybe even more when they're bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed "Canuxploitation."

An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

Easter may be over, but Good Omens is a bit of a late riser. The third and final season of the fantasy comedy series is headed to Prime Video this spring, and it's bringing the Second Coming with it. The streamer has just released a new poster for the show's final act, showcasing supernatural frenemies Aziriphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant) facing off for the final time.

In the new poster, a literal chasm has formed between the two characters, who were created by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman in the 1990 novel of the same name. While the first two seasons of the series were about the angel and demon duo working together to stave off the end of the world, it looks like this time it might be too late: in the background we can see what appears to be the ruins of Whickber Street, the Soho locale where Aziriphale's bookshop is located, and of Crowley's beloved vintage car. We can also see the heavens streaming with divine light as the duo face off. Will this be the end for these two...and for the Earth? You'll have to find out on May 13, when Good Omens goes to its eternal reward with a single, super-sized episode.

How Did Season 2 of 'Good Omens' End?

Much of the season dealt with the enigma of the angel Gabriel (Jon Hamm), who had wandered into Aziriphale's bookshop with a case of total amnesia; sought by the forces of both Heaven and Hell, Aziriphale and Crowley were forced to conceal him. It eventually turned out that Gabriel had defied his orders to end the world, and had been stripped of his memories as punishment. Those memories were eventually restored, and he departed the service of Heaven with his one-time lover Beelzebub (Shelley Conn) in tow. Perhaps inspired by their pairing, Aziriphale and Crowley finally kissed...only for the former to accept an offer to take Gabriel's former position, and to prepare Earth for the Second Coming.

Good Omens was initially renewed for a six-episode third season. However, after Gaiman, who wrote and executive produced the series, was the subject of multiple sexual assault accusations, he stepped down from his role on the series, and the season was reduced to a single episode.

Good Omens' third and final season will premiere on Prime Video on May 13, 2026. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.
