Lorena Herrera On ‘La Casa De Los Famosos’ Eviction & Who She Thinks Will Win Telemundo Competition

Lorena Herrera is the latest evicted housemate of La Casa de los Famosos after almost two weeks in the house.

The telenovela actress was one of four new contestants who entered the competition in the competition’s final weeks to spice things up. However, after a week of immunity, Herrera was put up on the block and was eliminated after the public vote.

“I came to have fun and to enjoy myself, and that’s how it was,” Herrera said on being voted out. “I had a lot of fun even though it was only two weeks. I had a good time, and I left when it was time to leave.”

Herrera shared her opinion on why she was evicted, saying that the audience “probably likes to see fights and screaming.”

The actress is known as the villain in telenovelas, and she theorized that her past TV roles may have given her a persona that is not accurate to who she really is.

“I don’t like the yelling, I don’t like offending and I saw a comment that said, ‘If I didn’t come into [the competition] to do that, why did I join,'” she added. “I think it’s really sad and disappointing that people think what’s entertaining about a reality [show] are feuds, the toxicity, and aggressiveness. I think that we as human beings should have fun getting to know the celebrity, like hot confessions or other fun dynamics, not just fights.”

Herrera said she had been watching the show since the beginning, had seen a lot of fights, and didn’t want to add to the toxicity in the house.

Joining La Casa de los Famosos, Herrera quickly befriended Curvy Zelma and Celinee Santos while participating in Telemundo‘s Top Chef VIP. It is these two people whom Herrera thinks will make it to the top of the game.

“Obviously, the one [person] I would like to win is Curvy because I adore her, I love her, I love how she is, how fun she is,” she said of who she thinks will win the competition. “I also love Celinee. She has a great game and the support she has from the Dominican Republic is strong. I think the winner will be Celinee because she is giving what the people want to see. She is an intelligent woman, a woman with a strong character.”
