Jules Neale speaks about her marriage breakdown for the first time as she makes her society debut as a single woman at Australian Open amid split from husband Lachie

Jules Neale is moving on from her split with her AFL star husband, Lachie Neale.

The former WAG stepped out at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Tuesday and revealed that she is ready to face the future as a single woman. 

The 35-year-old spoke about her marriage split for the first time, telling the Herald Sun: 'The last few months have been a lot but being back in Perth with family has really helped me reset for 2026.'

She added: 'Honestly I'm loving being back in Melbourne and watching another sport.' 

Jules was absolutely glowing on the night, opting for a pretty in pink look including a fitted corset top that showed off hints of skin at the midriff. 

She added matching culotte-style shorts that sat above her knee, along with a pair of black high-heel flip flops. 

Jules chose a clean makeup look with a pink, matte lipstick and wore her blonde hair down around her face. 

The stunner enjoyed a glass of champagne at the ritzy Piper-Heidsieck lounge, which has been attended by a whole host of A-listers over the past week. 

Jules marked her high society debut as a single woman after her marriage breakdown. 

She had a female friend on hand, and the two were clearly kicking up their heels at the prestigious tennis tournament.

Jules appears to be living her best life in the wake of her split from Lachie, 32, posting less-than-subtle swipes at her ex and former best friend Tess Crosley. 

She took to TikTok on Wednesday to post a short video that showed her sitting at an al fresco restaurant table, sipping on a glass of white wine.

The post was set to Olivia Dean's track 'Lady Lady', which features the lyric: 'That lady, lady, she's the man.'

The fallout from Lachie's affair with Jules' former best friend Tess rages on as Jules settles into her new life in Perth.

Lachie stepped aside as Brisbane Lions co-captain following the very public collapse of his marriage.

'I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions which have hurt those closest to me. And for that, I am deeply sorry,' he said at a press conference. 

Jules has since moved back to Western Australia with the couple's two young children, Piper, four, and Freddie, one, while Lachie has settled into a new Brisbane bachelor pad following their separation.

The $2.43 million Seven Hills property, once considered the couple's forever home, is now on the market. 

The split first became public in late December when reports emerged that the couple were 'working through' marital issues, a claim Jules quickly shut down, declaring she had been 'betrayed in the most unimaginable way'.

The scandal deepened as attention turned to her best friend, former Mormon missionary Tess, who has been named as being at the centre of the marriage breakdown.
