Jade Thirlwall had fans head over heels after she released her brand new single IT girl on Friday - which they firmly believe could be a second savage dig at Simon Cowell.
The former Little Mix star, 32, has been topping charts since embarking on her solo career earlier last summer.
And she delighted fans with a brand new song, which was praised for being 'unapologetic' and 'authentic' aside from a 'banger'.
But something else got fans on the edge as they raced to analyse the single's lyrics just minutes after its release.
At one point in the song, Jade sings 'it's a no from me' - hinting to the famous phrase often used by Simon on The X Factor to reject contestants.
Meanwhile, the previous verses read: 'Sign on the line for me, baby, smile, but don't show your teeth

In the song, Jade sings 'it's a no from me' - hinting to the infamous catchprase used on X-Factor to reject contestants, but mostly known for being a trademark of the head judge, 65 (pictured on Saturday)
'Say goodbye to autonomy, now your body belongs to me.
She continues singing: 'Put me on the pedestal, watch me dance, dance to the beat till I can't stand.'
'Clause in the contract, contract gone, gone is the girl that you could con,' she concludes.
In her debut solo single, Angel Of My Dreams, Jade sings, 'sold my soul to a Psycho' - openly taking a swipe at the music mogul.
It easily led fans to speculate the new song - which seems to unfold a brutal showbiz reality - might be a reference to Simon and his label.
They flooded Jade with supportive messages and praised the singer for her bold words, writing on X:
'Sorry but Jade ending IT GIRL with 'it's a no from me' caused me to just do the most evil chuckle on the subway. We stan, we stan, we stannnnnnn!';

It comes as Jade took another swipe at Simon with her debut single after claiming his record label 'f****d Little Mix over.'
Jade rose to fame in the band after their formation on The X Factor in 2011 alongside Leigh-Anne, Perrie , and Jesy Nelson before they disbanded in 2022, following the departure of Jesy in 2020.
The group switched from Simon's label Syco to RCA during the recording of their fifth album LM5 following a reported falling out with the music mogul.
A representative from Syco said: 'The entire team who worked incredibly hard behind the scenes with Little Mix to help make the group a success would, I'm sure, always continue to wish them solo success.'
In 2020, Jade claimed Little Mix leaving Simon 's Syco record label 'f****d over' the group.
The quartet wanted to encourage female empowerment through their music but felt they were prevented from doing so under their previous label with their former boss.
Speaking to The Sun , Jade said: 'We did a little bit but we had a switch of labels during the LM5 process and that really f***ed us over. It was harder to put all our creativity out there in the way we would have liked.
'The LM5 album was very heavily on women's rights and our experiences in the industry. We're sort of cruising at the moment. That period in our careers was quite troublesome.'
Jade said the group have learned to stick to their laurels since their earlier days in the industry.
She said: 'I feel like now we're in a good place — we're with RCA and we're working on a new record, which is really exciting. We've learnt to really stick to our guns and do what we believe in.'
At the time, Simon insisted he 'never fell out' with the group and that tensions between himself and Little Mix's management, Modest Management, led to an 'embarrassing row' over a songwriting credit for their track Woman Like Me .
The music mogul even branded the girls 'the hardest working bunch' he has ever worked with.
It has since been reported that Little Mix earned an impressive £10m in 2019 alone after leaving Simon's music label in 2018.

Accounts from their firm Eternal Dance Media Limited showed the singers made £6m in 2019 – a £2 million increase from a year earlier.
While paperwork for Eternal Magic Touring Limited is also said to show the four stars paid themselves a dividend of £4.6million in 2019.
When considering the two figures together, the band managed to rake in more than £10million for the year.
At the time, it was reported that the band had earned a staggering £28.5million since winning The X Factor back in 2011.
The girl band was formed in 2011 after they each auditioned for The X Factor as solo singers.
Their first album DNA peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries including the UK and US, and the four women quickly soared to international fame.
