Troubled Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards announces engagement to pregnant Amanda Conner (and his ex Maci Bookout approves)

Ryan Edwards popped the question to his pregnant girlfriend Amanda Conner.

On Sunday, the 37-year-old Teen Mom star took to Instagram to reveal that he and his now-fiancée would soon walk down the aisle by sharing a heartwarming clip of the romantic proposal.

It appeared as though the reality star got down on one knee during a wintery family getaway over the weekend, surrounded by glistening slow and loved ones as they sat by a campfire.

And it appears as though his eldest son, Bentley, 16 — whom she shares with ex Maci Bookout — was also in attendance. The reality star also shares Jagger, 6, and Stella, 5, with his ex-wife Mackenzie Standifer.

Eagle-eyed fans also spotted a camera crew recording the moment, signaling that the proposal may appear on the forthcoming season of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

Though their special exchange was not audible, Ryan added Cooper Alan's romantic hit, Take Forever (Hally's Song) above the video, signaling the adoration he has for his bride-to-be.

His surprise announcement video was a hit with his 223K followers and fans flooded the comments with support and congratulations for the future spouses.

'Crying, because he has overcome so much .. They both have ..and I’m so happy to see him find the love of his life. They make each other better. such a sob, but I grew up watching 16 and pregnant and teen mom,' one fan penned.

Another chimed in, 'Congratulations!! This is the Ryan that so many of us knew he could be.'

And his ex Maci showed her support for the pair by hitting like on the post. 

The lovebirds' engagement comes three months after they revealed that they were expecting a baby girl — their first child together.  

'Ryan and I are very excited about our pregnancy. We have overcome so much in the last year and a half, and we are in a very happy, safe place,' Amanda told People at the time. 

After sharing the news, she shared some of his hopes and expectations he is setting form himself as he becomes a father again.

'Honesty is one of my biggest things, honest about who you are, about who me and Ryan are, I want to be honest about that,' she shared. 'I don’t want to hide anything from her. I’m going to be very cautious.'

She continued: 'I don’t want to be a helicopter mom, but I don’t want our child to go through anything that we’ve had to go through. I just want her to be very open to the world, but strong-minded about certain things.'

Of her pregnancy she later added, 'We have a great support system with family and friends, and they are very happy for this new chapter of our lives. 

'We found out only due to me having morning sickness, and ironically, Ryan had morning sickness as well and we just decided to take a test and it came out to be positive.'

Ryan and Amanda, 34, began dating in the summer of 2023 after meeting in rehab.  The troubled Teen Mom star made headlines over the years for his continuous run-in's with the law. 

In March 2017, he faced his first major legal hurdle when he was arrested in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for possession of a controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. 

Then in 2023, he was the reality star was put back behind bars for not following the terms of his probation for driving under the influence and simple possession. Afterwards, he had spent time in halfway homes for substance abuse rehabilitation.

And in January 2024, his probation was revoked following a series of legal infractions, resulting in yet another stint of jail time.
