Glenn Close got candid about her love life and explained why she has refused to pursue a relationship in nearly a decade, during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

On Monday, the 77-year-old Back in Action star opened up about her priorities and feeling 'happy' now despite marking nine years after her divorce from ex-husband David Shaw.

When Drew asked the actress if she had entertained another relationship since her September 2015 split from the biotech engineer, Glenn bluntly replied 'no.'

'I don’t know. I mean, I’m always up for anything, but I’m very happy right now,' the three-time Golden Globe Award winner added.

She also shut the door on the possibility of using dating apps to find love again, calling them 'crazy' and claiming she is 'too shy.'

And despite the plenty of fish in the sea, the mother-of-one said she is 'not searching' for partner at the moment.

'I’m not searching. Because I’m actually — I’m not a hugely comfortably social person, so I don’t leap to go to a party at all. So yeah, I’m okay,'  Glenn shared.

In 1969, at the age of 22, she entered into her first marriage with singer-songwriter Cabot Wade. But, their marriage was short-lived, dissolving in 1971.

And in 1984, she took another chance at love, marrying businessman James Marlas. Despite the couple's high-profile appearances, their marriage ended in 1987.

In the late 1980s she had a brief fling with producer John Starke — who she welcomed her daughter, Annie Starke, in 1988 — although the couple never married.

Her most recent relationship was with Shaw, who she wed in 2006. They amicably divorced in 2015, marking Glenn's third divorce.

She previously spoke frankly as to why she believed her past relationships have failed in a 2021 sit-down with Parade.

Glenn outwardly explained that it wasn't 'a good mix' to become involved with another who does not work in show business.

'To stay an artist, you have to be with people who understand that and don't expect you to have their outlook on the world,' she shared. 'It really is like two different languages.'

Later in the interview, the star attributed some of her relationship challenges to her upbringing, including time spent in a 'cult-like' environment during her childhood.

She believes her unconventional experiences have profoundly impacted her ability to maintain romantic connections.

Now, Glenn is embracing a life focused on personal fulfillment and professional success.

Her forthcoming Netflix film, Back in Action, is slated to premiere on January 17.
