In addition to being a die-hard fan of filmmaking, television, video gaming, and anything else with a gripping narrative, Aidan Kelley is also a passionate and detail-oriented writer and journalist at Collider.com. In addition to his work as a Senior Resource Writer, Aidan has also contributed to Collider's features and news reporting sections. He has covered major industry events, such as San Diego Comic-Con and the D23 Expo, and has had the privelege of interviewing industry stars like Bruce CampbellMaggie QChad Stahelski, and more. This sincere love for the art of storytelling began at a young age, with Aidan making video movie reviews for the news program at his local high school. That love only increased over the years, with an ongoing career in independent filmmaking and screenwriting after graduating with a degree in Film and television from DePaul University.

John Nolan, the veteran actor best known for his work on Person of Interest, has died at the age of 87, according to the Stratford-Upon-Avon Herald. The English-born actor was also well-known for his early acting work with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal Court Company's stage shows before a number of memorable roles in film and television. Nolan is also the uncle of two of the entertainment industry's most prominent creative voices — Oscar-winning filmmaker and The Odyssey director Christopher Nolan as well as Fallout executive producer and Westworld co-creator Jonathan Nolan.

Who Did John Nolan Play in 'Person of Interest'?

John Nolan's most iconic performance without a doubt in CBS' sci-fi crime series, Person of Interest, where he made regular appearances in 28 episodes of the long-running show, the most in his entire career for a single series. Long before his beloved work on both Westworld and Fallout, Person of Interest was the first time Jonathan Nolan created a television series after working with his brother Christopher on Memento, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, and Interstellar. Once Jonathan cast his uncle in the series, John Nolan quickly became a fan-favorite as the extremely mysterious John Greer — a ruthless former MI6 operative who regularly goes toe-to-toe with the show's main characters, John Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Harold Finch (Michael Emerson), effectively making him the closest thing the series has to a main antagonist.

Our hearts and condolences go out to John Nolan's family and friends during this difficult time.
