In the Palisades fire alone, around 5,300 structures have been destroyed, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Eaton fire near the Altadena and Pasadena area has taken down between 4,000 to 5,000 structures as of Thursday.
Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley stated, 'The Palisades fire is one of the most destructive natural disasters in the history of Los Angeles.'
The catastrophic fires - which began on Tuesday amid strong Santa Ana winds - have forced around 180,000 people from their homes across Southern California, per NBC News.
Residents including Anthony Hopkins, Tina Knowles, Jeff Bridges, Miles Teller and John Goodman have also lost their homes in the fires.
It comes less than a year after James was left fearing for his life after he was bitten by a poisonous spider outside his Los Angeles home.

James was rushed to hospital and hooked up to drips following the bite and later shared a picture of his gruesome injury to social media and issued a health update, admitting he didn't realise how 'serious' it was.
Black widow spiders are known for the distinctive marking on their abdomens and their deadly poison is said to be 15 times stronger than rattlesnake venom.
James explained on Instagram: 'I'm finally recovered now (touch wood) from being bitten by a black widow spider.
'I did not know how serious my condition was until I was refused an IV drip at my local Next health because I was suffering hypertension with a blood pressure reading of 190 / 115 mmHg.'
He added: 'Apparently that's quite serious. I ended up at the hospital later that night! Anyway, I'm still here, Alive and kicking! Cool story bro…'
According to the National Geographic website, bites can cause nausea, muscle aches, and paralysis of the diaphragm that can make breathing difficult.
