Ajay Rochester has revealed that her son has been working tirelessly assisting victims of the devastating LA fires.
The former Biggest Loser star took to Facebook on Friday to share that Kai, 24, who works as a security guard in Los Angeles, had worked for 36 hours straight in a bid to assist victims and save property.
Ajay has been busy keeping friends, family and followers updated on Kai's whereabouts amid the horrific blazes, revealing that he had just finished a 24-hour straight shift.
'24 hour shift and Kai just got relieved,' she wrote.
'He's going home! He still has a 2 mile hike down to his car but he's safe! Most stressful 24 hours in my life!!!!
'He's saved so many people's homes. He's no longer my baby but a man I am so proud of!

Ajay augmented her words with a photo of Kai on the front lines waring a face mask and a pair of Aviator sunglasses.
She also shared a series of clips, taken by Kai that showed frightening scenes of destruction that he faced during his long shift.
However, such is the rapidly changing nature of the catastrophe, Ajay posted again, just hours later, that her son remained on scene. for a further 12 hours.
'Kai is finally home and safe! 34 hour shift. No food. Only water and Gatorade. Saved multiple homes, evacuated people and protected houses from potential looters,' Ajay shared.
'I called him a hero and he said the fire fighters were the real heroes. I said : "you literally fought fires and risked your life."'
She continued: 'As always this kid is humble but he's not a kid any more. He is a man. He is MY hero. Thank you everyone for your messages. They kept me sane.
'I kept busy so I wouldn't dwell and I prayed a lot. Thank you God for having him in your protection.'
She then went back to update her original post, revealing that Kai had actually worked for 36 hours straight.

Ajay's posts were met with a flurry of well-wishes from friends and followers.
'He’s a testament to his great parenting by his mumma,' One follower wrote.
'A brave young man with ethics and determination far beyond his years. Take care, both of you,.'
'Way to go Kai!!!!!!! Thank you for your service,' another offered, while a third chimed in with: 'What a an absolute legend. Take care.'
After finding fame on the hit Network Ten reality series The Biggest Loser, Ajay relocated to the US to raise Kai, who has Asperger's syndrome.
Speaking to New Idea in 2021, Ajay opened up about her relationship with her son.
'Raising a child with Asperger’s, you learn to have different benchmarks to other kids – you really can’t compare milestones,' Ajay told the publication.
She said she'd always 'expected' to provide for her son well into adulthood because of his condition, but was beyond 'proud' of him after he landed a well-paid job.

'I've been paying his bills for years and keeping him in a house and frankly, I expected to be doing that for some time,' Ajay said.
She explained that Kai had moved to Australia from LA - where he'd spent much of his childhood - in 2019, but struggled to find work after applying for over 100 jobs.
Ajay, who hosted weight loss show The Biggest Loser from 2006 to 2009, had relocated to the U.S. in 2010.
Her most recent TV appearance was on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2019, but she now mostly works behind the scenes as a casting agent.
