You can now play a brand-new RPG that mixes The Legend of Zelda and Minecraft for free on Steam, and you may find yourself hooked, waiting for more. If you’re looking for free games to play or try out, Steam is the platform for you. While Epic Games is well-known for offering free games every week, you can actually find tons of free games on its competing platform. A few days ago, a free 10/10 game was added to Steam, allowing players to have a great time without spending a dime.
The influx of free additions to the platform is continuous, and, just recently, another freebie was added to Steam, allowing players to check out an upcoming game. There are no strings attached to the free download; if you’re interested, all you have to do is head on over to its product page and download the free demo. This can be done at any time, as long as the demo remains available for players on the platform.

The Upcoming RPG Mixes Genres
The free download on Steam is a demo for Soulscape, an upcoming sandbox RPG. The title developed and published by Pixel Keep combines different types of gameplay mechanics, such as crafting, building, survival, action-based combat, looting, and dungeon crawling. You can even assemble your own army out of your slain foes to aid you. A lot of the game revolves around fighting enemies to find new loot and upgrading your abilities to improve.
Soulscape has a large open-world map to explore, with tons of encounters and secrets to uncover. There are overworld bosses to face for improved loot, and as you grow, the world also seems to grow around you. Combat may seem similar to The Legend of Zelda, or at least the classic entries, while its resource-gathering and survival mechanics may feel familiar to fans of Minecraft.
Soulscape Is Free To Check Out Now
Explore The RPG’s Mechanics For Free
The game is still in development, and there isn’t a clear release date scheduled for it. However, you can get a taste of what it feels like through the free demo available on Steam. The demo will only cover a small portion of the title, but it will allow you to check out its core mechanics, how it looks, and how it feels.
The demo for Soulscape is a pleasant surprise, especially considering it’s entirely free. If you find yourself wanting to play more, you can always replay the demo, but be sure to wishlist it to be in the know regarding the news – including its upcoming release date. This new RPG on Steam may be deserving of your attention, as it already looks amazing in its early stages of development.
