Yellowstone alum Kelsey Asbille glammed up to attend the Rabanne womenswear FW/26 runway presentation during Paris Fashion Week last Thursday.

It marked the 34-year-old actress' first public appearance since her controversial character Monica Long Dutton was unceremoniously killed off in CBS' spin-off Marshals.

Asbille (last name Chow) held court front row beside R&B songstress Ravyn Lenae and Primate actress Johnny Sequoyah as they checked out the latest from the French luxury fashion house formerly known as Paco Rabanne.

The South Carolina native - toting a silver fringed handbag - took the plunge in a grey blazer and matching knee-length skirt featuring fringed panels with black patent leather pumps all from the collection.

On Saturday, Asbille shared an Instagram snap of her Rabanne look, which was her first post in a month, and her 540,000 followers showed her support in the comments.

'The way they wrote Monica off the new show is beyond me,' Instagram user @therealsheilamae20 wrote.

'Kayce loved Monica so much. Won't be watching [Marshals] because Monica is not in it. Shame! Just absolutely sickening how [they] treated Monica.'

'So sad your character has left [on] the premiere episode of [Marshals],' Instagram user @ogyogimaster commented.

'Have a good relaxing weekend.'

In the first episode of the $52 million-budget sequel, audiences discover that Monica died from cancer as a result of toxins dumped onto the land by the government.

The Broken Rock Tribe member has previously divided audiences during her five seasons on the Paramount Network western (2018–2024) for allegedly being controlling and dragging down Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes).

'Are we going to make a show about a guy who's really happy?' Marshals creator Spencer Hudnut defended to TV Insider last week.

'We had to shake up his life, to get him off the ranch and into a new position.'

The showrunner noted that Kayce will continue to visit Monica's grave on his East Camp property as 'her spirit' remains with him throughout Marshals: 'It's a sacred spot.'

Marshals - airing Sundays on CBS - currently has a 47 percent critic approval rating and an even more dismal 38% Popcornmeter audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes

The 42-year-old executive producer-star said: 'I worked up the courage to call. I didn't know how she was going to feel about it. I had to see how she was doing. We had a great conversation. In true Kelsey fashion, she handled it like a pro and totally understood' (pictured last Tuesday)

Indeed, Asbille (M, pictured in 2025 with co-star Jake Ryan) already wrapped her next acting role in Harris Gurny's (L) indie rom-com Adulting about a mother-obsessed postgrad attempting to date in New York

But Hudnut and Grimes have no intention on having Kayce find love with a new leading lady as it 'would feel like we were cheating if it happened anytime soon.'

'Kelsey's become one of my best friends. She's the coolest actor I've ever worked with. She's down to earth, sweet, and kind to every other actor and the crew,' the 42-year-old executive producer-star said.

'She's going to do just fine. She is so talented, gorgeous, and awesome. She's going to work. That's not an issue.'
