The new era of the X-Men continues. As fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe gear up to revisit some of our old friends in Avengers: Doomsday before a new Charles Xavier (Christopher Abbott) takes over Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, there is a lot of love for the team of Marvel's heroes going around. A lot of that love was kicked off thanks to the return of X-Men: The Animated Series when X-Men '97 landed on Disney+. To celebrate the love, Collider is thrilled to team with Marvel and Hasbro to share a first look at two new Marvel Legends figures.
Fans can now purchase their very own version of Bolivar Trask and Bastion Nimrod from the series from the Marvel Legends line! Available for pre-order starting on October 7 at 5 PM ET through November 20, the figures are available exclusively on Hasbro Pulse, set to arrive in the fall of 2027. The toys are described as follows: "Technopath Bastion seeks to usher in his dream of mutants bowing to humans, while the ambitious scientist Bolivar Trask finds himself at the mercy of the Sentinels he created. For the first time in the line, fans can add Marvel's Bastion Nimrod and Bolivar Trask to their collections with this made-to-order set, inspired by Marvel Studios’ X-Men '97 Season 1 designs."
With Bastion Nimrod's silver armor as part of his design with beautiful articulated wings, the figure spans 11.3 inches across and comes with a changeable head, "4 alternate hands, and 2 attachable power effects for dynamic series-inspired displays." For the Bolivar Trask figure, he comes dressed in a scientist outfit with "an alternate head and 2 alternate hand and forearm pieces. Display him in his human form, or as his Prime Sentinel transformation as seen later in Season 1."
It's a Great Time To Be an X-Men Fan
Season 2 of X-Men '97 brought fans a lot of joy as they waited to see how all the timelines would come together. With Jean and Scott in the future with their son, Nathan, and other heroes back in the '90s, and part of the team even further back in time with Apocalypse, there was a lot happening on the show. But it all came together with the beautiful return of Gambit to the fold and this is just the beginning of everything that the X-Men have to offer us!
