Would you wear this dress? Ruby Tuesday Matthews shows off her very revealing frock: 'My kids think I've completely lost the plot'

Ruby Tuesday Matthews has unveiled a surprising new talent.

The Byron Bay influencer, 32, took to Instagram to reveal she has turned her hand to fashion design, sharing a video of her very first attempt at creating a dress from scratch.

Dressed casually in jeans and a fitted black long-sleeve top, she carefully draped, pinned and sculpted material over a dressmaker's mannequin in her living room.

The finished creation appeared remarkably polished for a first attempt, leaving fans impressed by her unexpected design skills.

Showing off her trademark sense of humour, Ruby captioned the post: 'Attempt #1. I think it has potential... My kids think I've completely lost the plot.'

The video then cuts to the mother-of-three modelling the finished creation herself, proving her doubters wrong. 

The unique gown featured a dangerously high leg slit, dramatic side cut-outs that highlight her toned torso, and a completely open back that cascades into an elegant floor-length train.

Accessorising with layered diamond necklaces and a sleek updo, Ruby posed effortlessly to showcase the sheer, textured masterpiece from every angle.

Ruby recently revealed she has updated her engagement ring for the third time since her partner, Shannan Dodd, proposed back in June 2021.

The influencer shared photos of her fresh bling in an Instagram post, unveiling the 12.59 ct Ashoka diamond sitting heavily on her ring finger. 

While the price of a diamond that size varies by cut and clarity, the hefty gem could sell for as much as $3 million. 

In the caption alongside her post, Ruby explained that she'd been gifted the new ring by her fiancé Shannan to replace her old one as a Mother's Day gift. 

'Happy Mother's Day to me. Came home from China to an early surprise from Shannan and the kids,' the social media star wrote. 

'A 12.59ct Ashoka diamond I'd been quietly obsessed with.' 

Ruby then complained that while her fiancé had given her three different rings throughout their very long engagement, which began in 2021. The pair have yet to make it down the aisle

She revealed that she was engaged to Shannan back in June 2021 by sharing a photo of herself locking lips with her beau. 

Ruby placed her left hand on his neck, drawing attention to the stunning diamond sparkler on her ring finger.

It has certainly been a very long engagement for Ruby and Shannan, although the influencer admitted earlier this year that walking down the aisle was not a top priority.

'I would love to get married, I would love to make it down the aisle. I feel like it's every girl's dream to maybe one day go down the aisle,' she told the Daily Telegraph in February.

However, Ruby qualified her statement by adding that there were a few things she wanted to tick off her bucket list first.

'I would love to get there one day. I would also really like a pool, and for my floor to stop cracking and get it sanded back,' she said.
