Will Sam Rockwell, Leslie Bibb Work Together Again? He Says...
Sam Rockwell doesn’t need to wait for the right opportunity to bloom—he wants to reunite with partner Leslie Bibb on screen.
While the couple both appeared in the latest season of The White Lotus, Rockwell is ready to find the right project that will give them some more shared screen time.
“We should do that,” he said of starring in a movie with Bibb during an interview with E! News at the Toronto Film Festival (TIFF). “We got to figure that out. We were briefly in a few movies. Don Verdean and then Iron Man 2, very briefly, but not enough.”
After all, “she's my partner,” Rockwell continued. “She means everything to me. She helps me with everything, and I help her.”
But while they’re solid as can be, don’t expect the couple to tie the knot anytime soon.
"Listen, I love Sam Rockwell,” Bibb explained during a June 2025 appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends, “I would put him in my pocket and carry him with me all the time. I love him. I do not want to get married.”
In fact, the Palm Royale added that a trip down the aisle isn’t something Rockwell envisions for himself, either.
“Maybe it’s probably something about the way we grew up," she explained, "but I feel like if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it."
Indeed, after almost two decades of partnership, the couple have more than proved there’s nothing about their partnership that needs repair.

And when one has a project headed to screens, the other is there to support it every step of the way—the most recent being Rockwell’s new movie Wild Horse Nine, which earned a 14-minute standing ovation at TIFF.
“It was amazing,” he recalled of the reception. “It was like staggering.”
Wild Horse Nine stars Rockwell and John Malkovich as two CIA agents dispatched to Easter Island where Malkovich’s character puts their mission at risk by bonding with some local students.
As for how Rockwell—who’s been in the movie ‘biz for over 30 years—handled the already positive response to the dark comedy?
“Well, you're flattered,” Rockwell revealed. "You're slightly embarrassed. You're kind of like, ‘Should I go? Should we go? Should we wrap this up?’ But it's really nice. Like, ‘Okay, maybe I'll soak it in.’”
There’s a limit, however, to how long any standing ovation can last.
“People have to go to the bathroom,” he joked. “You don't want to be selfish.”
