Josh Heuston has caused outrage after he was accused of committing a 'social breach of etiquette' at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
The Australian actor and model, 29, who stars as Justin Kohl in the Amazon Prime smash-hit series Off Campus, was seated next to Japanese idol Sho Hirano at the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show in June.
At the event, Josh was seen 'manspreading' his legs wide as he sat next to Hirano to watch the show, with the Japanese singer appearing cramped and uncomfortable as he sat on the bench.
Angry fans took to Reddit to call out the Sydney-born star's 'obnoxious' act, claiming his behaviour breached Japanese etiquette standards.
Japan has much stricter social codes around personal space than most of the Western world, and it is considered an etiquette breach to brush against another person without their permission.
'I stand with Japan on this topic. So rude to press your body against others. He likely has no idea but that isn't a good enough excuse,' one person wrote.

'I live in Japan and idol fans are extremely protective so I'm not surprised they are reacting strongly. Sitting like that here is pretty rude regardless,' a second added.
'I'm not from Japan, but in the US it's considered rude to do this as well,' someone else wrote, and another added: 'Look at how much room the Japanese dude has! Crammed in pretty tight!'
In June, Josh appeared to confirm romance rumours with his Off Campus co-star Mika Abdalla after they were photographed together looking affectionate in Paris.
Josh was spotted wrapping his arm around the American actress as they browsed a convenience store in the French capital.
In one image, Josh gently held Mika close as they stood together at the checkout.
Another photograph showed Mika resting her hand on Josh's arm while the pair chatted as they waited to pay.
The candid images quickly sparked excitement online, with fans convinced the on-screen co-stars have taken their romance off-screen.
Josh also shared a photo of the pair on a plane alongside co-star Stephen Kalyn.

Should celebrities be more mindful of cultural etiquette when attending global events?
The couple have been at the centre of romance rumours for weeks after Mika announced she was ending her engagement with actor Jake Short.
An industry source close to Josh told the Daily Mail that the pair have been 'inseparable' since filming wrapped - and hinted that Mika will soon be heading to Australia to meet his friends after she wraps production on the second season.
Josh's love life is no stranger to the spotlight, as he was previously linked to Melbourne-born model Carla Martinez from 2022 to 2025.
