Oscars 2026 Best Dressed Celebrities: Nicole Kidman, Zoe Saldaña & More
Kieran Culkin has an update on whether his pregnancy pact with wife Jazz Charton succeeded.
One year sharing that the couple had struck a deal on having four kids together if he were ever to win an Oscar, the A Real Pain star—who took home the Best Supporting Actor prize at the 2025 ceremony—said that he's still hoping Jazz stays true to her word.
"At the time I was on stage asking for a fourth, she was actually pregnant with the third," Kieran told Entertainment Tonight at the 2026 Oscars March 15. "We found out two weeks before." (Click here to see all the celebs on the red carpet.)
However, the 43-year-old noted that he made sure to remind Jazz, who he married in 2013, of their pact during his acceptance speech because he still "wanted a fourth kid."
"No. 3, he's beautiful and he's perfect," Kieran said of his and Jazz's third child, who they welcomed last fall. "So, if that's the last one, we did great."
Kieran—also dad to kids Kinsey, 6, and Wilder, 4—added, "We might be done at three, and they're beautiful."
But the baby pact wasn't the first deal Kieran struck with Jazz, a former ad exec. In fact, he also bargained for baby No. 3 when he won at the 2023 Emmys for his performance in Succession.
“My beautiful wife, Jazz,” he said onstage while accepting his Emmy, “thank you for sharing your life with me, and for giving me two amazing kids.”
Kieran added, “And Jazz, I want more. You said maybe, if I win.”

And, according to Kieran, that was the fateful night he and Jazz made their pact for baby No. 4.
“After the show, we're walking through a parking lot,” he recalled at the 2025 Oscars. “She's holding the Emmy. We're trying to find her car. And she goes, ‘Oh God, I did say that! I guess I have to give you a third kid."
“She turned to me and she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar,'" Kieran continued. "I just have this to say to you, Jazz, love of my life, ye have little faith."
The actor added, "I love you. I'm really sorry I did this again and let's get cracking on those kids."
