Wendy Williams fans were all pleading for her return to television after she gave her blistering verdict on disgraced Diddy amid her dementia battle.

Williams, 60, who made a comeback to public life by calling into The Breakfast Club podcast this week, said the musician, 55, was 'done' and going to prison for the rest of his life ahead of his May trial on sex trafficking charges.

The music mogul pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. He's been accused of inducing female victims and male sex workers into drugged-up, sometimes days-long sexual performances dubbed 'Freak Offs.'

The indictment against him also alleged that he coerced and abused women for years while using blackmail and shocking acts of violence to keep his victims in line.

Williams, who had always been openly critical of the disgraced mogul throughout her career, said: 'Diddy will go to prison for life people, you don't know things that I know about Diddy back in the day.

'It is about time people, it is about time, Diddy done!'

Fans quickly praised the star on social media, and called for her return to TV.

One wrote: 'someone get wendy back in that purple chair NOW' while a second typed: 'She should do a podcast not a TV show. Too much pressure but she is clearly still aware and able to speak on anything.'

A third typed: 'I’m telling if she did her show thru her home with that purple chair . My goodness she would have a field day with all these hot topics!'

Williams has stepped away from the spotlight amid a battle with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia

'We just need her to get on a mic in her bedroom she doesn’t even need to get dressed just TALK,'

In September Williams was praised online by fans who claimed that the opinionated talk show host had been warning the world about Sean 'Diddy' Combs' alleged crimes for years.

Williams started trending on X, formerly Twitter, in the wake of news that the disgraced rapper had been denied bail amid ongoing sex trafficking and racketeering charges - leading fans to lament the loss of her Hot Topics segment, in which she would unpack all the latest news from Hollywood on The Wendy Williams Show.

Williams had been critical of the music mogul during her career as a radio and television host, and fans argued that she had been one of the few stars to call out his alleged antics 'for decades.'

'Wendy Williams told us a decades ago about Diddy,' one X user wrote. 'The streets have been talking for a very long time.'

Another agreed: 'Wendy Williams been telling y'all about Diddy for years.'

Some fans joked that had the star still been on air, she would have highlighted the fact her warnings had been accurate.

An awkward interview with Diddy from a 2017 appearance on The Wendy Williams Show resurfaced late last year.

The clip showed the controversial rapper talking to Williams about her son Kevin Hunt Jr. , who was 16 at the time.

'And let me tell you something, as the mother of a now 16-year-old - ' Williams said before Diddy interrupted: 'Mhm, who I met backstage, he's a great young man.'

Williams swiftly thanked him for the compliment before appearing to space out and stutter her words as Diddy stared at her.

Commenters quickly flocked to the old clip and noted how cagey Williams was when Diddy mentioned her son, now 24.

'That was a threat, he’s saying play nice,' one wrote.

Another said: 'The way that she hesitated, you know that she knew about him!'

'The way she wanted to say “you stay away from my son”,' another added.

The Wendy Williams Show aired its final episode in June 2022 after 13 years – without Williams herself making an appearance.

She previously withdrew from the show in 2021 and embarked on what was initially supposed to be a temporary leave of absence to cope with health issues.

Elsewhere in the chat Williams shut down claims that her ongoing dementia battle has made her 'permanently incapacitated' in a rare radio interview on Thursday morning.

The radio icon called into The Breakfast Club to plea for freedom from her controversial guardianship, as she spoke with her former radio co-host Charlamagne Tha God.

The headline-making talk show host - who was diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in May 2023 - sobbed as she described her current situation as 'emotional abuse' in the damning chat.

Wendy stated to the shows' hosts: 'I am not cognitively impaired, but I feel like I am in prison. I am definitely isolated.

'To talk to these people who live here, that is not my cup of tea. I keep the door closed.'

The former Wendy Williams Show host described her stark difference of her daily life as she noted: 'I watch TV. I listen to the radio. I watch the window. I sit here, and my life goes by.'

Last year, Combs swiftly settled a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend Cassie in which she claimed he engaged in sex trafficking and abused her

Wendy added that she no longer has the company of her pet cats and claimed that they are now 'gone' - claiming that they had been taken despite her 'wanting them with her'.

The TV star revealed that she ultimately hopes to move to Florida so she can live there with her family.

For now the star is just focused on being able to travel out to Miami next month in order to celebrate her beloved dad's birthday.
