Vampire Crawlers is a spin-off of the popular roguelike title Vampire Survivors, bringing players a first-person dungeon-crawling experience that is both new and familiar. This time around, you have to work through many of the previous game's iconic locations using the same weapons and items in an attempt to survive a run and take home plenty of coins and more.

Indeed, much about this second entry in the series will make folks feel right at home, including the Unlocks list, well-known characters, and the ability to customize your loadouts mid-match, which entices you to find a broken build that can decimate any enemy that dares to stand in your way. But just how many hours will it take you to see all of what this new journey has to show you? Here's how much playtime you can expect out of Vampire Crawlers.

How Long Is Vampire Crawlers?

How long it takes you to complete every main mission in Vampire Crawlers will depend on how much time you spend grinding, preparing, and trying new things. This is because, unlike many games, the endgame here isn't just to finish every dungeon but to complete your Unlock list, which can be viewed in the village and contains a plethora of goals. This list requires you to invest a significant amount of time in playing different characters, evolving specific weapons, and reaching certain milestones. Doing so reveals additional characters, mechanics, and more that will assist you in continuing the process.

With so much to unlock and so many features to see, it can take 20 hours or more to clear every dungeon in Vampire Crawlers. Varying playstyles, skill, and the fact that success requires at least a hint of luck will no doubt make this number different for everyone. But simply seeing all of this through to the end is only part of the fun, as Vampire Crawlers is much like its predecessor, Vampire Survivors, in that it's a playground begging to be replayed endlessly as you try to build the most powerful, screen-clearing builds you can find.

With post-launch support all but certain for Vampire Crawlers, there could be years of additional content that expands your time in the game beyond the base campaign, too. After all, Vampire Survivors has received plenty of expansions and smaller updates, including crossovers with popular IPs like Castlevania and Among Us, so who knows what could be in store for Vampire Crawlers down the line.

Vampire Crawlers is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
