UTA Signs Social Media Star & Odd Muse Founder Aimee Smale To Creator Division

EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed Aimee Smale, social media star and founder of fashion brand Odd Muse.

Smale has 1.5 million followers across social platforms, UTA said, and is being signed to the creator team as the agency pushes deeper into the space.

Smale used to work for ASOS but in 2020 launched Odd Muse when she was just 22. The “affordable luxury” clothes brand based in London and New York is now a £22M-turnover ($30M) biz, UTA said.

Smale is active across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube and has collaborated with the likes of L’Oreal, Bentley, Adobe and Shopify. She recently launched a podcast, PodMuse, featuring guest interviews, fashion tips and insight.

Smale and Odd Muse will be supported across the London and New York UTA teams. The UTA creator division she is joining has expanded by more than 60% over the past year, according to the agency, and she joins a roster of talent that includes Elizabeth Day, Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo.
