It is one of the biggest shows on American television.
But the Real Housewives series set in London has failed to sign up any stars for the much-anticipated reality show.
Insiders have revealed that producers are unable to secure big-name stars despite months of casting efforts.
Announced in October 2024 by streaming platform Hayu, the series aimed to replicate the success of its US counterparts, such as Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Producers planned to feature glamorous businesswomen rather than traditional celebrities or WAGs.
However, the lack of willing participants has cast doubt on the project’s viability, with efforts to find London’s elite housewives proving fruitless.

It is thought the show is struggling so much that the franchise flew out creator and executive-producer Andy Cohen (pictured) to London in November
A source shared: ‘They’re looking for businesswomen rather than celebs, not going down the WAG or celeb route. It’s not working as no one wants to do it.
‘They first asked her about casting back in August. It’s now January, and they’re still not cast. They keep sending messages saying, "Have you got anyone?"'
The series was marketed as a high-society addition to the franchise, with filming planned for early 2025 and a premiere later in the year.
The initial US show was inspired by the huge popularity of dramas such as Desperate Housewives and Peyton Place.
Olga Puzanova, SVP of Marketing at Hayu, shared her enthusiasm during the October announcement: ‘Our fans have been vocal for London to be featured in the iconic The Real Housewives universe for a long time now and we are thrilled to confirm that the wait is finally over!
‘We are delighted to give our fans exactly what they’ve been asking for, so get ready for some of London’s most fabulous and fiery personalities to shake things up.
‘The drama, the glamour, and the unforgettable moments are all coming exclusively to Hayu, and we can’t wait for you to dive in.’
