This week, Screen Rant's TV and streaming experts have hand-selected these three new additions on Netflix. One is an acclaimed sci-fi thriller that originally aired on Prime Video, while the others are two brand new series perfect for a one-night weekend binge.

The Man In The High Castle

The Man in the High Castle was just added to Netflix on Wednesday, March 11, and is instantly one of the best multi-season sci-fi thrillers to dive into this weekend. Based on the celebrated novel by Philip K. Dick, The Man in the High Castle is centered on an eerie dystopian historical fiction premise in which the United States lost World War II, and America becomes occupied by Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan.

The Man in the High Castle is both a fascinating and entertaining story about nationalist oppression and totalitarian rule, which does make it a somewhat timely series, although it premiered back in 2015. It achieved a near-perfect 95% Rotten Tomatoes score in its debut season and an overall RT score of 84%. It also features one of the career best performances by Rufus Sewell, who many may recognize as one of the stars of The Diplomat. If you love high-concept sci-fi or historical series, The Man in the High Castle is this weekend's best binge on Netflix.

Dynasty: The Murdochs

Dynasty: The Murdochs is one of the best new series to binge on Netflix this weekend. Just released on Friday, March 13, Dynasty: The Murdochs. The 4-part docuseries follows the life and career of the billionaire business mogul, Rupert Murdoch, as he makes one last major play to ensure his legacy. It also features behind-the-scenes footage and unrevealed details of the succession battle between Rupert's adult children for control of his media empire, which famously inspired the HBO series Succession.

With four episodes total, each from 47 to 55 minutes long, Dynasty: The Murdochs is the perfect length to start and finish in one night. The series begins with an overview of how Murdoch became such an industry giant, including the 1996 launch of Fox News, and how the succession battle between his children, namely his two sons, James and Lachlan, evolved throughout the decades.

That Night

The best new show to binge-watch on Netflix this weekend is the 6-part crime mystery thriller That Night. The Spanish-language series takes place in the Dominican Republic, where a group of sisters is on the vacation of a lifetime. That is, until the youngest of the group accidentally hits a man with her car after a night of partying, killing him and forcing the sisters to determine how far they're willing to go to protect one another.

That Night has received mostly positive reviews since it was released in the early morning hours of Friday, March 13, and is expected to be one of the biggest new Netflix hits of the weekend. Consisting of just 6 binge-worthy episodes, all between 38 and 46 minutes, That Night was designed to be started and finished in just one night, and is bound to be one of the most talked about new series streaming on Netflix this weekend.
