Today's Karl Stefanovic made a very cryptic post on Michael Rowland's last day at ABC News Breakfast.
On Friday morning, the veteran ABC presenter signed off for the final time after 15 years with the morning news program.
While watching Michael's departure on his television at home, Karl shared his well wishes.
'Congrats [Michael Rowland] you bloody legend,' he wrote alongside the photo, before mysteriously adding, 'See you soon.'
It's unclear what Karl meant regarding a potential reunion with his breakfast show rival.
Michael's farewell on Friday morning featured colleagues, family members and guests paying tribute to the journalist, who will remain at the ABC but pursue other projects.

'I want to take this opportunity as well to thank all of you for helping me look good on camera. It is a massive, massive team effort, and I and Bridget would not be able to do what we do without the work of the fabulous producers, directors, make up, artists, master control who put all of our stuff to air and it make us look good,' he said.
'I also want to thank again my co presenters, Bridget, thank you. It's been wonderful working with you only for a short amount of time.
'Virginia, Lisa, Karina, a special shout out to Virginia, who was my longest work wife for nine years. Loved working with her. We annoyed the hell out of each other on occasion, but she taught me how to be a breakfast presenter, and for that to Virginia, I'm always truly grateful and happy to have worked with you.'
Earlier this week, James Glenday was announced at Michael's replacement.
Michael, 55, broke the shock news of his departure to viewers earlier this month, revealing his last show was Friday, December 13.
'I'm leaving News Breakfast,' Rowland announced.
'I'm sorry to the viewers out there for the short notice. I'm not one for long and drawn out farewells and I wanted minimal fuss.
'I love the job, it's the best job I've had in the ABC. In fact, anywhere. But after 15 years of 3am starts my body is screaming "enough!". And so too is my wife.

'It's been an immense privilege to be here for 15 years presenting the news to our viewers. That, to me, has been by far the most important part of the job.'
Michael's ABC News Breakfast co-host Bridget Brennan said it has been 'an honour and a privilege' sitting alongside him.
'I've been able to watch firsthand his enduring dedication to strong journalism and public service,' Brennan said in a statement.
'After 15 years, Australians will miss his presence each and every morning enormously, but I know we all appreciate the incredible effort he has given to News Breakfast for such a long time.
'Michael, I hope this next chapter brings long sleep-ins and more time to stay up late and watch your beloved Doggies!'
It comes amid a huge TV network shakeup across all channels in the last few months.
Samantha Armytage has jumped ship from Channel Seven to Channel Nine, after being unveiled as the host of Nine's upcoming dating show The Golden Bachelor.
Meanwhile, former long-serving Seven anchor Sharyn Ghidella was sacked in July over the phone while she was at the hairdressers after 17 years with the network.
She was picked up by Channel Ten and is now the nightly news anchor for 10 News First in Queensland.
