TikToker Tini Younger Shares Update on Surviving Baby After Death of Twin

Tini Younger is sharing one way she’s keeping her daughter’s memory alive.

Nearly a year after the TikTok chef and her husband Antoine Wright Jr. shared that Arya, one of their twin baby girls had died shortly after their birth, Younger detailed how her 9-month-old maintains a bond with her late sister.

“I keep my daughter Arya, I keep her ashes around my neck,” Younger detailed in a Sept. 8 TikTok. “So, like any baby would, her twin sister, she likes to play with her ashes.”

And while Younger—who has not publicly shared her daughter’s name, but confirmed her first initial is L—encourages her baby girl to interact with the necklace, she admitted it can stir up some awkward moments in public.

“Then, also like any baby, she likes to put the necklace in her mouth so out in public I’ll be like, ‘Oh you can’t eat sissy, I’m sorry’” Younger explained. “And when I say that, people are like—”

Mimicking a confused expression, she jokingly rolled her eyes and looked concerned.

The 25-year-old’s fans naturally took to the sweet, but simultaneously embarrassing anecdote. As one commenter quipped, “I’d be shouting ‘Girls! Stop fighting! We don’t bite!’”

Meanwhile, another noted how Younger’s daughter—who could be heard babbling in the background of the video—appeared to be aware of what her mom was discussing. As the follower wrote in a comment, “The little noise she made when you said ‘twin sister.’”

Younger, for her part, agreed that her daughter is aware of her late sister’s existence.

“We talk about Arya all the time so she knows who her twin sissy is,” the Next Level Chef alum replied in her own comment, “and loves to look at her pictures :) (and steal stuff from her memorial corner).”

Indeed, she previously detailed putting together a memory corner for Arya in her daughter’s room to ensure that her Baby L grows up knowing she has a twin sister.

“It’s very important she knows she’s a twin,” Younger said during a March appearance on The Tamron Hall Show. “I have really close friends who are twin sisters and their bond, they’re each other’s best friends. So, she’s going to know, even if she’s not with her physically, but she’s going to know her twin is with her all the time.”

While it’s important for her child, it’s important for her and Wright, too.

“That’s my daughter,” Younger emphasized. “Her memory is going to live on. I’m not going to forget about her at all.”
