Right now is a great time to be a fan of The Witcher franchise, even if it is going to be a few more years until the release of The Witcher 4. CD Projekt Red announced just a few weeks ago that it wouldn’t be anytime before 2028 before The Witcher 4 debuts on next-generation consoles, but this isn’t that surprising considering we know that The Witcher 3 is getting another expansion coming next year. Little is known about Songs of the Past at this time, other than it will be the final chapter in the story of Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher 3. CD Projekt Red has treated fans to several expansions already, including Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, both of which offer dozens of hours of new content.
