The Network Taps Hilary Shor As Head Of Production

EXCLUSIVE: The Network has brought on veteran producer Hilary Shor as Head of Production at the streaming platform.

Shor, who has worked on numerous acclaimed films, including most recently Lee Daniels’ The Deliverance and The United States vs. Billie Holiday, with “her deep relationships with industry players will continue to bolster The Network’s mission to offer a platform for artists to play an integral role in developing projects that they are passionate about,” the company said in its release.

A longtime collaborator of The Network founder Aram Rappaport, Shor is working with Rappaport on the platform’s newest limited series The Artist starring Mandy Patinkin, Patti LuPone, Janet McTeer, Zachary Quinto, and Hank Azaria, among others.

“I am so thrilled to be officially joining the team at The Network,” said Shor. “Aram and I have collaborated on a number of projects now and I wholeheartedly believe in the approach that he is taking to create premium content that not only speaks to consumers, but allows artists to explore new territory and take a more active role in the creative process.”

“Hilary is an unparalleled force in the industry and I have seen firsthand the positive impact that she has on any project she takes on,” added Rappaport.  “We are looking forward to having her at the table as we continue to work toward our goal of producing and distributing one premium Original per month beginning in 2026.”

With a career spanning over 25 years, in addition to The Deliverance and The United States vs. Billie Holiday, Shor also worked on Daniels’ The Butler and The Paperboy. She was the President of Production for Hit and Run Productions for over 15 years, where she served as liaison for Disney’s animated films Tarzan and Brother Bear, as well as Tarzan the Musical on Broadway.

Shor is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), Women in Film, and works closely with Children Mending Hearts in Los Angeles.
