Kelly Clarkson will continue singing as her syndicated talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, has been renewed for another season, bringing it through 2026.
For the 2024-25 season (Season 6), The Kelly Clarkson Show averages 1.2 million viewers per day, an increase from fall 2023, and consistently ranks as one of the top syndicated talk shows. The talk show, distributed by NBCUniversal Syndication Studios, currently airs in over 200 local stations nationwide.
“Kelly Clarkson is a national treasure. We couldn’t wait to announce another season of The Kelly Clarkson Show, fresh off the top-rated ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’ in which Kelly hosted,” said Tracie Wilson, EVP, Syndication Studios and E! News at NBCUniversal. “There’s an appetite in talk for stories that entertain and inspire, and The Kelly Clarkson Show is a shining star that delivers for our stations and connects with viewers across multiple generations in meaningful ways.”
The show’s renewal is for Season 7, a contrast to past years when the syndicated talk show was renewed for two seasons at a time. The Kelly Clarkson Show has also seen success in key demos locally, seeing double-digit percentage increases over its lead-in among women 25-54 in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Boston, and San Francisco.
Valari Staab, Chairman, NBCUniversal Local, said: “Kelly and her team continue to raise the bar in daytime television. The show’s consistent viewership, engaging content and high production quality has made it a valuable part of our programming lineup across the NBC-owned stations. We’re pleased about its continued popularity and success.”
The Kelly Clarkson Show is hosted by Emmy Award-winning host and Grammy Award-winning artist Kelly Clarkson. Since its launch in 2019, the show has won 22 Daytime Emmys, including multiple wins for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host; two People’s Choice Awards for Best Talk Show of the Year; and accolades from the Alliance for Women in Media’s Gracie Awards, winning the Talk Show Entertainment category three times.
Alex Duda is the executive producer and showrunner. Clarkson is also an executive producer.
