Paris Fashion Week is already an exclusive affair, drawing the world's rich and famous to the City of Love each year.
Yet even within this rarefied crowd, there's a hierarchy - red carpets, invitation-only parties and coveted gatherings - where the Saint Laurent show reigns supreme.
This year, the front rows featured Sydney and Melbourne's most prominent socialites, though a few familiar names were conspicuously absent.
Billionaire influencer Laura Hazzouri - who recently stirred the 'old money vs new money' debate with her gauche display of wealth - was notably missing from the prestigious event.
Her husband, Charbel Hazzouri, and his cousin Anthony El-Hazouri, made their debut on The Australian's Richest 250 list in 2026, joining the billionaire ranks with a combined fortune of $2.84 billion.
The Hazzouris' wealth, amassed through their property firm Revelop, has been steadily growing for years.

Despite her status in Australia's elite circles, the socialite did not attend this year's exclusive Saint Laurent event.
Hazzouri posted photos on Instagram on Wednesday, enjoying a luxury holiday with her husband and three children.
Yet she seemed to be longing for Paris, sharing a video of the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2027 runway show during Fashion Week.
The clip featured Saint Laurent designer Anthony Vaccarello receiving congratulations as he walked the runway with his models at the show's end.
Her absence from the show was particularly notable - she attended in Paris last year, tagging Saint Laurent in her posts from the event.
Luxury PR mogul Maree Andrews, a well-known devotee of high-end fashion, was another notable absentee at the Saint Laurent show this year.
Group photos were shared on Instagram showing the Australian social set hanging out together at the fashion show

Meanwhile, the Australian contingent were led by socialites and legendary Saint Laurent spenders Kate Champion and Sarah Lucas.
Champion – the ex-wife of Laser Clinics Australia founder Alistair Champion – shared several photos to Instagram of her stunning Saint Laurent minidress.
The blonde beauty opted for a chocolate piece from the collection, with a fur-trimmed hem and see-through knitted material.
She paired the look with stockings and sharply pointed black pumps to show off her slim pins.
Champion finished her look with a pair of designer sunglasses and large Saint Laurent earrings.
Last year, the socialite spoke with the Daily Mail about the Saint Laurent Paris Fashion Week events, saying they are 'so considered and special'.

'Saint Laurent is a gorgeous team to travel with and the events are so considered and special,' she said.
'The team and friends that I've made with the brand have become like family. We all definitely also share a love of the clothing and the way it makes you feel.'
She also addressed the absence of certain notable names from Australian high-society.
'I don't think there is any juicy gossip. Everyone gets along so well and I think they rotate invitations so that it's inclusive,' she said.
Champion was seen spending time with the usual suspects.
Sarah Lucas, a high-profile Melbourne socialite, also shared several images to Instagram showing off her attendance at the exclusive event.

Aussie socialite Niki Paris was also spotted mingling with Lucas and Champion
The wife of restaurateur Chris Lucas made headlines last year when she was notably absent from a Saint Laurent event in Cannes, reserved for the brand's top spenders.
Lucas is a regular at global events hosted by the fashion house and has even been flown to luxury gatherings arranged by the brand.
However, her absence last year was rectified this week, as she was pictured enjoying herself with several fellow Australian socialites.
The creative consultant was dressed head-to-toe in Saint Laurent, posing for group photos with friends.
Champion appeared in some of the photos, along with Lucas's stepdaughter Holly, Melbourne architect Danielle Angelodemou, and socialite Niki Paris.

Areti mingled with the Champion and Lucas group, wearing a gold dress to match the runway's glittering theme near the Eiffel Tower.
