The Golden Bachelorette: Signs Joan Vassos And Chock Chapple Are Working Through Their Family Drama (Christmas Brought Them All Together)

The Golden Bachelorette season 1 ended with Joan and Chock getting engaged. Since leaving the show, they've both been determined to bring their families together, and the holidays were the perfect opportunity to do so.

Joan was married to John Vassos for 32 years before he passed away in 2021, and they had four children together; Nicholas, Allison, Luke, and Erica. Chock and his ex-wife, whom he divorced after 12 years of marriage, had two children together; Taylor and Tyler. Joan and Chock met each other's adult children during The Golden Bachelorette season 1, and they all got to spend time together during the recent holidays. The gathering seemed to go well, and led to plans for a Christmas get-together.

It isn't clear yet if all of Joan and Chock's children are supportive of the relationship. Some of their kids could be concerned about their parents getting so serious with someone they barely know. After all, Joan and Chock met in June 2024, which wasn't that long ago. Some of Joan's children could also be concerned that their late father is being replaced. During the clip, they talk about bringing their families together, which Joan admits has been a "little harder right now." Joan and Chock didn't get into details, but it's great that they're being so transparent about their relationship.

Since leaving the show, Joan and Chock have shared their relationship milestones on social media, and fans have flocked to the newly engaged couple.
