An ordinary photo session in Infinity Nikki took a turn for the surreal when a nearby NPC sank into the ground in an odd but hilarious bug. The cozy world exploration title has many beautiful outfits to discover, but the highlight of this particular image isn't the outfit. Instead, the unfortunate NPC has captured viewers' attention.
The image that Reddit's MarinaBaay posted seems ordinary at first glance. "I finally got that dress everyone’s been talking about," writes the Redditor. "I think it looks cute." The image, taken with Infinity Nikki's in-game photo feature, shows Nikki striking a cute pose with a wink and the peace sign while looking at the camera. A closer look, though, reveals an NPC next to her, half-buried in the ground.
It appears that the NPC has been swallowed up by the dirt, with only her head and shoulders peeking out. Despite her obviously precarious situation, the character doesn't seem the least bit bothered by her predicament, as she calmly gazes in front of her from ground level.

Fellow Infinity Nikki Players Have Hilarious Responses
Reddit user kumosame responded with a hilariously relevant meme depicting a man posing in front of a camera while in the background another man appears to be struggling to stay afloat. The image from MarinaBaay is giving the "same energy" as that meme, as Nikki poses casually in front an NPC who is clearly not doing too great. Other comments share famous scenes that also have a similar energy, like the quicksand scene from Jumanji, where Robin Williams is half-sunken into the ground.

Infinity Nikki is off to a great start despite missing some obvious cozy game features, though new additions could suggest new content is on the way.
Redditor berriejammie, on the other hand, is supportive of the NPC and their lifestyle choices, writing, "I don’t know what everyone’s problem is. Becoming one with the dirt is a valid lifestyle, and I for one support her." It turns out, the dirt-bound NPC is not unique to the original poster's game. Redditor OffbrandWaterCompany expressed relief that the glitch isn't isolated to their game, noting, "Okay glad to know that lady is just walking around half in the ground in everyone's games, not just mine."

Some Glitches Are More Funny Than Game-Breaking
Infinity Nikki has some breathtaking outfits and locations, and I love to explore the world and discover them. I personally don't mind when a game I'm playing has a handful of bugs, as long as they don't get in the way of my enjoyment of the game. In the case of this "lady of the dirt" glitch, not only does the bug not get in the way, but it actually makes the moment even more enjoyable because it makes me laugh.
I'm glad to see that other players are also able to have a sense of humor about these kinds of bugs because they're just plain funny and not harmful. I'm sure developer InFold will fix this issue soon since it's been pushing out updates very frequently. I wouldn't mind it if this particular silly glitch remains in Infinity Nikki, to delight other players who happen to stumble upon it.
