The Bachelor's Bella Varelis rushed to hospital after weekend accident

Bella Varelis has been hospitalised following a weekend accident.

The Bachelor star, 31, shared a photo to social media on Wednesday in what appeared to be a ward, alongside a message to her devoted followers. 

'Gonna be a little 000 over the next two weeks after an accident over the weekend,' Bella teased cryptically.

'Thankfully surgery went well and now it's just time to rest, recover and take it easy for a little while.' 

Bella provided no further insight into the events that landed her in hospital. 

Her hospital stay comes after she revealed what she eats in a day to maintain her fit figure.

The reality star runner-up told fans she tries to keep her meals 'balanced', but will often eat out for dinner and snack on fruit.

In an image shared to social media, Bella plated up four meals she incorporates into her day-to-day diet.

One plate contained four figs cut in half, while another featured grilled fish with sliced cucumber.

Bella appeared to be fond of cucumber, as she included the vegetable in another meal alongside quinoa and yoghurt.

Her final meal of the day was a plate of lamb chops with some fresh green salad.   

'Some of my go-to meals, but life is all about balance,' Bella captioned the post.

Bella also told her followers she combines her nutritious diet with strength training, reformer Pilates, occasional yoga and weekly saunas to maintain her frame. 

The 7Bravo host has undergone a makeover since her days as a runner-up on The Bachelor in 2020.

The former reality TV star underwent a nose job and eyelid lift surgery in one eye in 2022.  

At the time, the star admitted she had been 'lying' to her fans for ten days and using old photos on social media to conceal her surgery. 

'Don't be mad at me, but I've been lying to you for the last ten days. Everything you saw on my social media was fake,' she said in a video posted to YouTube.
