Mariska Hargitay is revealing details from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ‘magical’ wedding in July.
The Law & Order: SVU star, 62, opened up about the lavish Madison Square Garden ceremony on Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, telling the host that it wasn’t what she expected.
‘I’m still floating from that wedding,’ Hargitay admitted. ‘It was so spectacular and so intimate, I have to say. I have to say, I am blown away, because when there’s a wedding with that many guests, you think, like, “Oh, okay, it’s gonna be that.” And it just wasn’t.’
More than 1,000 guests attended the nuptials in NYC.
A smaller, more intimate rehearsal dinner for the couple's closest 100 friends and family was reported to have been held at the Infosys Theater inside MSG on July 2.
‘I even say that the vows were my favorite part of the whole wedding,’ she continued. ‘It was that magical.’

Hargitay described the event as 'intimate' despite there being 1,000 guests in attendance
The actress, who attended the music icon’s wedding to the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end with her husband Pete Hermann, shared new details about the big day as she spoke about her BFF’s love of the Knicks.
In June, she was spotted sitting alongside Swift, 36, and Haim members Este and Alana for game 4 of the NBA Finals.
‘She was throwing me around like a rag doll!’ Hargitay said about the singer.
Asked whether she thought Swift would ever play a dead body on her show like many other celebrities have wished, Hargitay wasn’t so sure.
‘I don’t know, somehow I think she’s super busy,’ the TV star laughed.
Just days before her Kimmel appearance, Hargitay was left red-faced after suffering an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction ahead of the 78th annual Emmy Award show on Monday.
On Monday, she joined forces with a whole host of famous faces from across the industry to roll out the blue carpet.
But as the group strode forward hand-in-hand to complete their duties, Hargitay glanced down and instantly called the proceedings to a halt.

'Hold on, we have to go again. My thing popped off!' she announced, as she rushed to rearrange her blazer that had come undone to create a plunging neckline.
Thankfully, Hargitay's blushes were spared by a sequined undershirt but the star hastily readjusted her ensemble nonetheless.
'It's better that it happens here than at the Emmys,' the star playfully added.
Speaking to USA Today in the aftermath, the New York Knicks fan joked that the incident was caused by her heroic carpet domination.
'I started going into full-on Knicks-mode, kicking the carpet,' she told the outlet. 'I was a superhero... just starting to pop open.'
Asked if it was good luck to get any mishaps out of the way now, she added: 'Damn straight it is.'
Just days earlier, Hargitay, who directed a documentary film about her late mother Jayne Mansfield titled My Mom Jayne, raked in two wins at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys on Saturday.
The actress received the award for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special for My Mom Jayne, which was released on HBO Max last year in June.
She also won for Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program.
Her role as Emmys host marks the first time a woman has hosted the show in 15 years.
The 2026 Emmy Awards will air live on NBC and Peacock on Monday, September 14, at 8pm EST/5pm PST.
