Strictly It Takes Two host Ellie Taylor has revealed she made a hospital dash just hours before her live TV show on Monday.
The presenter told fans she had injured her hand as she shared an Instagram photo of her left thumb wrapped in a brace.
The star, 42, wrote in posts shared to her Instagram Stories: 'Quick visit to Minorinjuries! Thumbs up to it not being broken just a strain!' before joking that she hoped the Strictly wardrobe department 'has a glue gun and some rhinestones' to jazz up her bandage.
Ellie admitted she then had to dash from the hospital to the Strictly studios in time for Monday's episode of It Takes Two.
'Also big thumbs up (It's all I've got) to Nurse Wendy who got me out in time to make my car to the studio,' she revealed. Ellie later presented the 6:30pm show without the brace.
The TV and radio star was announced as the new host of It Takes Two earlier this year, after the Strictly shake-up saw Janette Manrara and Fleur East sacked from the nightly spin-off show.

Fans were left stunned back in March when the Ukrainian dancer, 37, as well as several other longstanding pros, was dropped from the lineup in the mass Strictly shake-up.
And months after her shock axeing, the stunner made a triumphant comeback as she joined Kimberley Walsh and Jay McGuinness as celebrity guest panelists to discuss all things Strictly with new host Ellie.
Dressed to impress in a black leather minidress, Nadiya proved there were no hard feelings as she happily discussed this year's crop of contestants and their routines ahead of Movie Week this weekend.
Taking to X, viewers were quick to share their delight at seeing Nadiya back on their screens, while one chastised show bosses for letting her go in the first place.
