Known as 'Cyberpunk 2077's' biggest fan, Angharad is a Welsh games writer who thrives in anything related to digital storytelling. If a video game explores the intricacies and horrors of womanhood, she is there.

Thanks to previous work at GAMINGbible, GameByte, The Loadout, Game Luster, Angharad has built a strong understanding of both the digital world and what fans want from it and is eager to share her thoughts and expertise with readers.

Created as a spin-off series of Stargate SG-1 as part of the wider Stargate universe, Stargate Atlantis ran for five seasons and gave fans 100 episodes of non-stop action from 2004 to 2009.

Following the events of Stargate SG-1's seventh season finale, Stargate Atlantis sees a brand-new cast discover an Antarctic outpost created by the alien race known as the Ancients. Receiving plenty of award nominations, the spin-off show is remembered fondly, but after the Stargate Universe was canceled, its accompanying movie, titled Stargate: Extinction, was ironically canceled in return.

With the very first Stargate feature film releasing back in 1994, it has been over three decades since fans were first introduced to the hit sci-fi saga, but with nostalgic media becoming more and more common in recent years, it is no wonder that companies are cashing in on the revivals.

That is most certainly the case with Stargate Atlantis as, thanks to Master Replicas, fans can now get their hands on the Zero Point Module Light-Up Replica. Coming in at 14" (36cm), this stunning collectible is the perfect way to remember the series, and, of course, adorn your shelf or desk in style.

As the official item description reads: "This is a stunning, illuminated replica of the ZPM, or Zero Point Module, which is one of the most important artifacts in the Stargate universe. The ZPMs are effectively powerful batteries that were created by the Ancients to power their cities, outposts, and ships. The Ancients and the Asurans are the only races that knew how to create ZPMs. Using them depletes their energy, so they are now very rare and the Atlantis crew were always looking for fully powered versions. Our version stands just over 14” (36 cm) tall. It is illuminated and is powered by a USB-C cable that plugs into the base."

Zero Point Module Light-Up Replica

Costing $149.99, this collectible is quite the investment, but with Stargate Atlantis merchandise being few and far between, it is definitely worth it for the biggest fans. Not only that, but the Zero Point Module Replica will begin shipping out to customers this month, so if you purchase now, you will no doubt get your hands on it almost immediately.

Featuring stunning colors reminiscent of the ZPM, this upcoming release will also serve as a light, which makes that high price point make a little more sense, and with pre-orders still open at the time of writing, you had better go and secure yours before they are sold out.

However, this is not the only brand-new collectible available for pre-order courtesy of Master Replicas, as collectors can also check out the Dreadnought from Mass Effect as well as Cerberus from Battlestar Galactica.

Will Stargate ever return to our screens? A planned revival from Martin Gero was officially canceled by Amazon earlier this year. According to reports, the new series would have been a continuation of existing canon and perhaps not capable of bringing in a new audience . . . although apparently Amazon is exploring other ways to revive the IP, so never say never!
