Stacey Solomon has teased fans with more glimpses of her new £2.5million Essex home.

The TV star, her husband Joe Swash and their five children have left behind their much-loved £1.3million 'Pickle Cottage' for a country manor set in 30 acres of rolling Essex countryside.

The Daily Mail revealed over the weekend that the family's new home is an imposing Victorian retreat – complete with stables, a coach house and even its own lake.

Stacey has been slowly revealing the vast 8,000 sq ft house to her 6.1million Instagram followers as she shares her plans for doing up the period property - a fitting challenge for the star who has turned decorating, decluttering and DIY into a £10.1million powerhouse business.

Posting new videos over the weekend, Stacey gushed about 'The Home Alone hallway of my childhood dreams' and 'the biggest fireplace I’ve ever seen in my life.'

Filming in the huge hallway, Stacey gave her followers a look at the grand staircase and completed her first mini makeover by draping autumnal decorations over the bannisters.

'I love these stairs. They’re old & worn but they’re beautiful,' she told fans before asking if she should 'paint them? Sand them back & lighten them? Or keep them dark?'

'Every little detail is just so special I want to honour them but also they need some TLC! I know how hard it is to sand details like these but is it worth it?' she continued.

'Or do we stay dark? But is that too dark & maybe it needs to be lighter in here. Paint? I don’t know. All I know is for now they’re the perfect mood for some early autumn decoration.'

She later took fans into the living room 'featuring the biggest fireplace I’ve ever seen in my life.'

'I love it in here,' she continued. 'It’s so peaceful and light! I can’t work out if the fireplace is too big for the room or if it’s perfect all I do know for sure is I can not wait to hang stockings off of it and decorate it for Christmas!'

Stacey showed off the high ceilings, vast windows and the real wood floor as she gushed it is 'one of my favourite rooms in the whole house.

She then stood in front of the huge wooden fireplace to demonstrate the scale of the piece, as she asked her online community 'it's taller than me, is it too tall? Is this fireplace too tall for the room? It's so pretty but it does weirdly give the illusion that the room is short.'

Stacey confirmed last week that the family had left her previous home, sharing a photo from the doorstep of their new property online with the caption: 'Home is wherever I'm with you... Pickle Project, Here We Go.'

Tudor-style Pickle Cottage, a 2.5-acre listed home in Essex, is where Stacey gave birth to daughters Rose, four, and Belle, three, and where she married Joe in 2022.

The couple also share Rex, seven. Stacey is also mother to Zachary, now 18, and Leighton, 14, while Joe has son Harry, 19, from a previous relationship.

Explaining the decision to move, Stacey told fans that the family had long dreamed of having more space for animals and growing their own produce.

She said: 'We saw somewhere and I was like, we could have a massive vegetable patch and we could offer our land to animals who need it and stuff like that.

'We could bring the horses back there, the ponies, and we went to see it and we fell in love.'

She added: 'It's a project, we're moving somewhere really really different and it does need a lot of love and I'm excited to do that all again.'
