Saturday Night Live has revealed two new cast members for its upcoming season after the shock exits of longtime stars Bowen Yang and Chloe Fineman.

Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter will join SNL for season 52, NBC announced on Wednesday.

Brooklyn-based comedian Belo-Osagie wrote and directed the short film Tinge, plus she created the event series Afrobeats Futura and solo show Saidah Gets Closure.

Belo-Osagie, who was born in Queens, also appeared in the web series Abigail's Divine Comedy.

An NBC press release notes how she gained an online following by making comedy videos for TikTok and Instagram.

She wouldn’t be the first of a new generation of SNL stars to do the same, fellow castmembers Jane Wickline and Veronika Slowikowska also became popular on social media first.

The other new addition to Studio 8H has a whopping 3.9 million TikTok followers and is well known for her The Hunger Games (but Better) parody trailer.

Reiter, from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, has appeared in SNL alum Tim Robinson’s The Chair Company.

She also worked on the upcoming comedy series Minimum Wage as a writer, director and cast member.

The new cast members will debut in the September 26 premiere hosted by Jalen Brunson with musical guest KATSEYE.

Actress Dakota Johnson will then host the October 3 episode.

Shane Gillis and Inde Navarrette will also host upcoming episodes, while Rosalia and Gracie Abrams will be musical guests.

Earlier this month The Hollywood Reporter reported that Martin Herlihy is also leaving SNL after five seasons.

The comedian, 27, was primarily a writer on the show, but he often appeared on camera as a performer too.

Herlihy is the son of SNL legend Tim Herlihy, who was one of the show's head writers in the mid '90s.

He was also part of the popular SNL comedy trio Please Don't Destroy with Ben Marshall and John Higgins.

Higgins left SNL last year amid a giant cast shakeup, while Marshall was promoted to a full time cast member.

Herlihy's exit comes after longtime cast member Chloe Fineman left the series in July after seven seasons.

'It's really hard to leave SNL but it does feel like the right time,' she said in a statement at the time.

'I'm going to miss it a lot. But the people who work there are my family and that place is my home, and I know I'll never be too far away.'

Fineman went on to write that the job was 'the greatest privilege of my life' and she's 'forever in debt' to creator Lorne Michaels.

'Every day I was lucky enough to be surrounded by the best people in the business, and I was constantly amazed watching them work,' the funnywoman wrote.

She originally joined the talented ensemble in 2019 for the 45th season, and she was promoted to full time cast member two seasons later in 2021.

Bowen Yang shockingly quit the sketch show last December to make his Broadway debut and to continue focusing on his podcast, Las Culturistas.

SNL underwent an extreme cast shakeup after its landmark 50th season last year, with Heidi Gardner, Devon Walker, Emil Wakim and Michael Longfellow all leaving the series.
