If you are anything like me, then you will appreciate any opportunity to dive in to yet another playthrough of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. First released back in 2011, the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls franchise has cemented itself as a modern-day classic, with its fans regularly using creations from the dedicated modding community to transform the Bethesda RPG into a completely new experience.
That is the case for this brand-new The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim arrival, which allows players to access new combat abilities and quests.
Skyrim Is The Game That Keeps On Giving
This is just one of thousands of free downloads available for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, with some designed for long-term players, introducing brand-new regions, and even ones that will make the wait for The Elder Scrolls VI a whole lot easier. It just goes to show, that despite the Bethesda RPG being well over a decade old, its community is still committed to immersing themselves in the dark fantasy world to this day.
A Dark Warrior's Tale is no exception as this brand-new Skyrim mod introduces 13 new combat abilities, as well as a new quest as players "learn what it means to be a Dark Warrior." Created by Kittytail, A Dark Warrior's Tale's main focus is its thirteen new abilities which are powerful, but deal damage overtime to its user. However, that is the only way that you can become a Dark Warrior, so if you are interested, you will need to head to the Vilemr Inn and read the "Local Warning." By completing the quest line, you will eventually inherit all of the Dark Warrior abilities, but it is recommended that you start at atleast level fifteen.
A Dark Warrior's Tale Is A Brand-New Quest
It is this brand-new quest that will see you earn these powerful new spells, some of which include Soulrender, Bloodletter, Shadow Carve, Dark Deluge, and many more. Soulrender will see striking an enemy with a standing power attack absorb 40 points of Magicka and Stamina, whilst Shadow Carve will allow you to deal 40 damage in a straight line in front of you whilst striking forward. Additionally, its creator has shared videos on YouTube so you can get a glimpse of how these abilities work, and I do not know about you, but I think they look pretty damn cool.
So, if you want yet another excuse to boot up The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and want to take on the role of a powerful Dark Warrior, this free-to-download mod will be the perfect addition to your mod library.
