Skye Wheatley and her on-and-off boyfriend Lachlan Waugh confirm they are back together - after announcing their split last year

Skye Wheatley has confirmed she is once again back on with her on-and-off partner Lachlan Waugh after they announced their split in October.

The reality TV star, 31, shared the news to social media on Monday.

The podcaster posted a clip of her and Lachie tenderly embracing each other while partying on a boat.

Skye flaunted her figure in a skimpy two-piece, while Lachie beamed from ear-to-ear in athleisure wear as he embraced his beautiful partner.

She captioned the clip: 'Life's good when you break up, get back together, break up, get back together.'

Many of Skye's celebrity friends took to the comments section to congratulate her on the happy news.

'Yay!!! Love you two,' gushed Emilee Hembrow. 

'So proud of you guys,' added influencer Sarah's Day. 

In October, Skye confirmed she had officially split with Lachlan after seven years together.  

The reality star revealed on Nova Podcast Skye & Callum that she and the Shopfit Co founder were taking a break while still co-parenting their two sons, six-year-old Forest and four-year-old Bear. 

Speaking on her podcast alongside her co-host and Love Island alum Callum Hole, she confessed that the couple had gone through 'little breaks' in their relationship before, but this is the longest they had been separated.      

'You heard it here first. There has been a breakup, but then we've been co-parenting,' she confessed.

Skye added that the stress of work, young children, a renovation and running their own business had taken a toll on their relationship, making it 'very hard to understand each other sometimes'. 

'We'll usually have little breaks so we can just reset, then we usually come back. But this has definitely been the longest co-parenting split slash break we've ever had,' she explained. 

The Big Brother alum was tearful as she admitted that this was the closest that she and Lachlan had been to ending their relationship for good. 

She went on to talk about the difficulty of juggling a split while still living together and raising their kids. 

'We were pretty much cold turkey. We'd only contact each other if we needed to chat about the kids or whatever. But it was hard because we were still living under the same roof,' she said. 

Rumours of a rift between the couple had first begun to circulate in September.  

Their relationship had come under the microscope after fans of the influencer pointed out she had failed to post about Lachlan in more than two months.

Skye hinted her relationship was over during an Instagram Live, responding to a fan who asked whether Lachy had cheated on her.

'I don't know... maybe,' the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here winner replied.
