Sir Rod Stewart's son Liam has revealed he's moved his family from Los Angeles to the UK as the rock star, 81, recovers from heart surgery following a worrying run of health problems.
Ice hockey player Liam, 32, has relocated with wife Nicole and their two young children to Milton Keynes - around an hour from his father's Essex home - after signing up to play one final season with the city's Milton Keynes Lightning team.
The move comes as Liam makes a full-time return to competitive ice hockey, having previously played four seasons for Milton Keynes until 2024 before stepping away from the sport for two years and moving into coaching in the US.
Liam, whose mother is Rod's supermodel ex-wife Rachel Hunter, 57, shares son Louie, three, and daughter Elsie, one, with Nicole, whom he married in 2024.
Speaking on the Lightning Talks podcast shortly before they left LA, Liam said: 'We're enjoying the last month we have here, and then all four of us are heading over to MK.
'I'm excited to get there and hopefully get into some cooler weather because it's pretty hot here right now.'

The relocation has put Liam and his family back on the same side of the Atlantic as Rod, who last month underwent a coronary stent procedure and cancelled the remainder of his 2026 US and Mexico tour on doctors' advice.
Rod lives with model wife Penny Lancaster, 55, and their sons Alastair, 20, and Aiden, 15, at their country estate near Harlow, Essex.
The Maggie May singer said last month that he was 'already feeling better and very much on the mend' following his surgery, while his representatives said he was doing well and had returned to his normal daily activities.
The operation came after a difficult few months for the veteran rocker. In May, Rod cancelled Las Vegas shows while recovering from a sinus infection and being placed on vocal rest.
The following month he pulled out of a San Diego concert after being diagnosed with an acute upper respiratory infection which resulted in laryngitis.
Days later, he sparked concern when he became winded during a performance in Utah, telling the audience he had nearly fainted before using an oxygen tank on stage and continuing the concert seated.
Liam revealed he had been spending time with his father in the months before his decision to relocate to Britain. He said: 'I went and saw my dad in Spain again, and here I am now getting back on the ice and working out.'
Liam also visited his father last Christmas, around the time he briefly got back on the ice for his former Milton Keynes team after around a year and a half away from competitive hockey.

Explaining how the one-off game helped rekindle his appetite for the sport, he said: 'I just missed the locker room and all that kind of stuff.
'And then coming back at Christmas obviously lit a flame a little bit, and I guess I just tweeted out one last dance.'
He added that he made sure the decision worked for Nicole before committing to another season in Britain.
Liam - who is one of eight of Rod's children with five women - said: 'I made sure it was all good with the wife. The kids don't really care, they'll be excited to watch me play.'
