Sharon Stone is poking fun at Sydney Sweeney’s penchant for stripping down.

The actress, 68, covers Variety’s Power of Women issue and revisits her most famous roles from Basic Instinct to Euphoria in a video for the magazine.

At one point the blonde bombshell recites a line from the HBO show where she stars opposite Sweeney, 29: ‘You ready to leave the world behind? Not just for us, but for your sister? The answer you’re searching for, “Yes, ma’am, thank you”.’

The series ended in May after three seasons.

Stone portrayed executive producer Patricia Lance while Sweeney was the complex Cassie Howard.

‘I tried to get Sydney Sweeney’s character to stop being a cam girl and to come and work for me on the series I was producing called L.A. Nights,’ Stone explains about her character.

‘And she agreed to stop being a cam girl — which she didn’t do. As you can see from Sydney’s new lingerie line, it didn’t take.’

Sweeney launched her SYRN range in January and came under fire for the racy images to accompany her campaign.

She has since opened up about her mission for the brand - insisting she wanted to ensure every piece fits well and works on a 'beautiful range of body types'.

SYRN aims to rival Kim Kardashian's Skims and Rihanna's Savage x Fenty.

It comes in 44 sizes, and is split into four modes: Comfy, Playful, Romantic, Seductress.

Launching the brand, the actress explained: 'The secret is finally out ... this is lingerie you wear for YOU, no explanation, no apology. I wanted to create a place where women can move between all the different versions of who we are.’

More recently, Sweeney has faced backlash for her appearance in an ad for sports betting app Novig.

According to Novig founder and chief executive Jacob Fortinsky, it was Sweeney herself who decided to get nude for the campaign for a very surprising reason.

Sweeney was allegedly drawn to the platform because it's focused strictly on sports predictions, whereas other platforms allow users to make predictions on almost anything.

'She said, "I'm uncomfortable with other platforms that have markets on what color underwear I’m going to wear",' Fortinsky recalled in an interview with Front Office Sports.

'There's something clean about sports,' she reportedly said.

Sweeney has recently come under fire for posing nude in the ad for sports betting app Novig

Sweeney has an equity stake in Novig, so it's no surprise that she was happy to create another watercooler moment by stripping down for the campaign.

The star hasn’t directly responded to commenters who said they were ‘disgusted’ and ‘disappointed’ after watching the commercial.

‘As a former athlete and a woman who has personally experienced sexualized comments, I’m genuinely disgusted and disappointed by this campaign,’ one Instagram user wrote underneath Sweeney’s original post introducing the ad.

‘We’ve spent years fighting to be seen and respected for our talent, strength and achievements, not reduced to our bodies…’

Another user wrote: ‘It’s too bad she couldn’t do an ad like this with her clothes on. It’s meant to be controversial just like Brooke Shields years ago. That’s what sells unfortunately.’

‘This is sad at this point,’ a third added. ‘Can’t sell or be a normal girl if she doesn’t use her body as a tool. Sexualizing sports like this is crazy.’
