Selena Gomez put on a bizarre display this week when she was spotted out in Beverly Hills while wearing what appeared to be a skincare mask.

Gomez, 34, was pictured on Wednesday as she left an establishment while an apparent sheet mask was plastered on her face.

The Only Murders in the Building star looked even more eerie thanks to a black exam mask she had on that completely obscured the bottom half of her face, and she also wore a pair of slim dark sunglasses.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Gomez's representative for comment but hasn't heard back yet.

Gomez – who marked her first wedding anniversary late last month – appeared to have been out for a casual errand, as she wore a fuzzy cream-colored sweater that hung loosely on her.

She paired it with baggy dark sweatpants, and she wore her raven tresses parted down the middle and tied back.

The outing comes after Gomez celebrated her first wedding anniversary with her husband, Benny Blanco, on September 27.

Gomez marked the occasion with an Instagram Stories post featuring a black-and-white photo of herself and Blanco, 38, on their wedding day.

'Happy anniversary my love,' she wrote while adding a gray heart emoji. 'I love you to the moon and back.'

Gomez, who began dating Blanco three years ago, married him in an outdoor ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, less than a year after their December 2024 engagement.

She wore a custom halter-neck lace-and-satin gown from Ralph Lauren, who also made Blanco's classic black tuxedo.

She shared the jubilant throwback photos shortly after she shared her plans to start a family with the record producer.

During a conversation on-stage at the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York City on September 17, Gomez revealed that she and Blanco plan to 'eventually' have children together.

Two years earlier, the singer and actress had revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair that she's unable to bear her own children due to 'medical issues.'

Two years earlier, the singer and actress had revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair that she's unable to bear her own children due to 'medical issues'

'I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby's in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while,' Gomez shared

'I haven't ever said this, but I unfortunately can’t carry my own children,' she admitted. 'I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby's in jeopardy.

'That was something I had to grieve for a while,' Gomez added.

Although she admitted that being a mother would 'look different' for her than for many women, she was adamant about still wanting to be a mom one day.

'It's not necessarily the way I envisioned it. I thought it would happen the way it happens for everyone,' Gomez continued, adding that she was in a 'much better place with that.'

'I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me,' she said. 'It made me really thankful for the other outlets for people who are dying to be moms.'

Gomez added that she was 'one of those people.'

'I'm excited for what that journey will look like, but it'll look a little different,' she admitted, and she emphasized that no matter what route she took to become a mother, the child would still be hers.

'At the end of the day, I don't care. It'll be mine. It'll be my baby,' she said.
