Nicole Kidman was born in Honolulu to Australian parents, and her first movie role came in 1983’s Australian Christmas movie Bush Christmas. Kidman came to the attention of Hollywood with her role in 1989’s acclaimed thriller Dead Calm, which was swiftly followed by a supporting role in 1990’s underrated Tom Cruise vehicle Days of Thunder.

However, Baker is likely best known for his role as Patrick Jane in the CBS Police procedural The Mentalist.
