Roxy Jacenko cuts ties with Australia for good as she settles into Singapore - as husband Oliver Curtis builds $1.25 billion AI fortune

Roxy Jacenko has officially cut ties with Australia, selling off her Sydney possessions and handing over her PR agency as she embraces a permanent new life in Singapore.

The former PR queen, who has been based in Singapore for the past three years, has spent recent months winding down her lavish Sydney life, offloading furniture, her luxury Range Rover and prized number plates which fetched $309,000 at auction.

She has also handed her agency, The Ministry of Talent, to employee Emily Hayman as she closes the door on the business empire that helped make her one of Australia's most recognisable PR figures.

Insiders say Jacenko is absolutely 'loving Singapore' and has no plans to ever relocate permanently to Australia.

'Pixie is loving school in Switzerland and is thriving, and Hunter absolutely loves Singapore,' one friend told The Daily Telegraph.

Jacenko's departure marks a dramatic new chapter for a woman whose high-profile lifestyle, celebrity friendships and PR empire made her a fixture of the Australian media for several years.

In recent years, Jacenko - who once appeared to relish the spotlight - has increasingly stepped away from it.

Jacenko is said to now turn down multiple media requests, while her social media presence has also dimmed.

Once known for sharing almost every detail of her glamorous lifestyle, Jacenko now keeps her life overseas largely out of the spotlight. 

And as she retreats from public life, her husband Oliver Curtis has undergone his own extraordinary transformation.

The former investment banker is now worth an estimated $1.25 billion after the rapid rise of AI infrastructure company Firmus Technologies, which he co-founded. 

Firmus is also weighing a potential Australian stock market listing and has attracted major backing from investors including Nvidia and Blackstone. 

The developments have given the couple an entirely different chapter to the high-profile Sydney life that once made them regular fixtures in the Australian social pages.

With Jacenko's Australian business empire now handed over and her Sydney possessions being sold off, the family is instead building its future overseas — while Curtis's extraordinary AI success continues to reshape their fortunes.

The couple relocated to Singapore with daughter Pixie, 15, and son Hunter, 12, from Sydney in 2023.

At the time, the businesswoman admitted she found it 'refreshing' that nobody knew who she was in Singapore.

'No one knows me there, no one has any preconceived idea of who or what I am, no one has any expectation, and best of all, no one actually cares!' she told the Sydney Morning Herald of the move at the time.

'In Singapore it was "Roxy who?"... I actually found it really refreshing, a bit liberating.'

They made the move when Oliver got a job in the country, with Jacenko then shutting down some of her Australian businesses to join him.
