Rebekah Vardy has scored a crucial point in the WAG war as new ratings figures reveal her documentary has triumphed over rival Coleen Rooney's series.

Rebekah's ITV three-part series with husband Jamie, At Home With The Vardys, was watched by 833,000 households in its first seven days, according to the new figures.

Coleen and her husband Wayne clocked up 230,000 in the same amount of time for their Disney+ The Real Rooneys, which was released last month.

Meanwhile former England star Michael Owen and his wife Louise could only manage 245,000 streams in seven days for their Prime Video show, Meet The Owens, The Sun report,

The figures, from BARB, are based on people watching at home on their TVs, not their devices.

When the Vardys show first aired in June, the Daily Mail revealed that it pulled in just 670,000 on its debut night, despite ITV clearing a primetime 9pm slot for the former I’m A Celebrity star’s comeback vehicle.

Rebekah Vardy has scored a crucial point in the WAG war as new ratings figures reveal her documentary has triumphed over rival Coleen Rooney's seriesive

Coleen and her husband Wayne clocked up 230,000 in the same amount of time for their Disney+ The Real Rooneys, which was released last month

The programme managed a meagre 6.7 per cent audience share and was comfortably beaten by rival shows across the schedules.

As viewers claimed the series was 'uninteresting and boring' it seemed critics agreed as the most the ITV show was awarded was a disappointing two stars out of five.

The three-part series followed Rebekah and former England ace and Premier League winner Jamie as they uprooted their family and relocated to Italy after Jamie signed for Serie A side Cremonese.

It charted the family's journey after Jamie agreed to leave Leicester City, leaving him without a club for the final years of his career.

During a recent fan Q&A on Instagram Becky teased fans when asked if there would be a second series of the show, replying 'haha maybe' with a side-eye emoji.

Becky's rival Coleen launched her family's reality series last month on Disney.

Alongside husband Wayne, Coleen has given fans an intimate look inside their family life with sons Kai, 16, Klay, 13, Kit, ten, and Cass, eight, in their new £10million fly-on-the-wall show, The Real Rooneys, which was filmed last year.

However, while Coleen was a huge hit in the I'm A Celeb jungle, her reality series with her husband has received rather mixed reviews from critics.

Meanwhile former England star Michael Owen and his wife Louise could only manage 245,000 streams in seven days for their Prime Video show, Meet The Owense life

The Daily Mail's Christopher Stevens gave the show a one star scathing review as he wrote: 'The extent to which I find this offensive, and the anger of my reaction, surprises even me.'

Taking offence with the fact that none of Wayne's previous cheating allegations or alcohol struggles are addressed he wrote: ' To call it The Real Rooneys, however, and then make no mention, is simply deceitful.'

He added: 'Why anyone would want to be portrayed as vacuous, self-obsessed, intellectually numb, absurdly insulated from reality and just spectacularly tacky, is beyond me.

'It's like an endless Instagram loop devised to convince us that life with the Rooneys is all a great boisterous lark, where everyone laughs and frolics until they fall into bed with exhausted happy smiles, excited about what tomorrow will bring – a Scouse version of The Waltons, with a hideous gilded brick barn instead of a wooden house.'

Meanwhile Becky has insisted people don't understand the 'pressures' of being married to a footballer.

The WAG has been married to Burnley F.C striker Jamie for ten years, and together they raise five children at their 12-bedroom mansion in Lincolnshire, after relocating back to the UK this month after Jamie spent a single season playing in Italy.

Becky took part in a fan Q&A on Instagram last month, where she was asked 'what's the hardest part about being a footballer's wife?'

She admitted the often last minute relocations around the world, especially with a young family, were tricky to navigate.

'Oh god there is so much to say on this one!' the WAG began. 'There is a lot of instability and the pressure it puts on the whole family. People don't see that!'

Becky added that she also hates the stereotypes attributed to WAGs. 'You're automatically stereotyped, people assume you are shallow, obsessed, materialistic and not particularly intelligent!' she wrote.

'There is an assumption because you are privileged (which we are) you're expected to tolerate public criticism and the strange idea that money removes your right to be hurt!'

'But it's a no win situation I don't have the appetite to people please anymore!'
