Razer's upcoming Chroma-enabled docking station for handheld gaming devices, smartphones, and tablets is now available to preorder at Best Buy for $80. Preorders are also up for grabs directly from Razer ahead of the Handheld Dock Chroma's January 30 release.
Razer Handheld Dock Chroma
$80
The dock has a 6-in-1 I/O design and is equipped with a gigabit ethernet port, multiple USB connections, and HDMI out.
This will allow you to hook up a handheld gaming PC like the Asus ROG Ally, the upcoming Lenovo Legion Go S, or Steam Deck and output the signal to your TV or monitor. Additionally, the dock features a 100W power passthrough for quick charging, a rugged aluminum design, and customizable RGB lighting.
The dock should be compatible with the new Lenovo Legion Go S, which will be available with Windows in February. The Legion Go S with SteamOS will release in May for $500. It's the first third-party handheld that will run on Valve's operating system.
The new dock is one of several announcements Razer made at CES 2025 earlier this month. Other highlights include the Razer Blade 16 laptop--an ultra-thin gaming device equipped with a 240Hz OLED display and an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. Other interesting reveals include the new PC Remote Play feature coming to the Razer Nexus mobile app--this will let users stream PC gameplay directly to their iOS and Android mobile devices--and Project Arielle, a gaming chair that features integrated heating and cooling technology.
Using the Razer Fujin Pro mesh gaming chair as a base, Project Arielle uses a bladeless fan system to efficiently deliver an adjustable airflow to its user. Other new Razer products on the way include RGB light bars that offer both front-facing and rear-projecting lighting options, the Iskur V2 X gaming chair priced at $300, and the 19.7-inch Razer Monitor Stand with built-in USB and HDMI ports and Chroma RGB lighting.
