Over a year after Rami Malek and Emma Corrin confirmed their relationship, the Bohemian Rhapsody star shared a glimpse into their sweet relationship.
How Rami Malek Channels His Inner Bond Villain at Oscars 2022
Rami Malek is grateful to have somebody to love.
After all, the Bohemian Rhapsody actor couldn’t help but gush over his private romance with Emma Corrin.
“That person [is] fascinating,” Rami told The Guardian in an interview published Jan. 20. And when the interviewer described The Crown star as smart and quirky, the 43-year-old simply added, “We like quirky.”
While the Mr. Robot actor didn’t want to divulge much about his romantic life, he revealed that Emma blew him away by surprising him with a Thanksgiving dinner, complete with all the trimmings.
Although neither Rami nor Emma has spoken about their relationship in depth, they sealed the news of their romance with a sweet kiss in September 2023. Two weeks later, the couple were also seen holding hands while walking to a dinner party during Paris Fashion Week.
Rami’s relationship with the Deadpool & Wolverine star isn’t the only one he’s kept private. While dating Lucy Boynton from 2018 to 2022, the Politician actress shared that the prying questions in their personal life inspired both of them to stay quiet about it.
"I had an interview recently where I was asked such crude and candid questions about my relationship," Lucy explained to The Cut in August 2019. "It kind of forced me to pull way back."
It was also essential for Emma to keep their relationship with Rami under wraps. However, the 29-year-old did reflect on their personal growth this year.
“It’s a realigning of what you want to do and who you are,” Emma admitted to The Guardian in July 2024. “I think I’m in the middle of it. I’m not a massive astrology person, but I feel like I am going mad this year.”

“I’m starting to doubt everything – what I’m doing with my work, who I am as a person,” they continued. “Am I a good enough friend? Am I good enough partner? Am I a good enough actor? Am I doing the right thing? Suddenly, all these questions have descended, and the ground that I’m standing on is so unstable and it feels like such an existential crisis.”
In fact, it’s been a pivotal few years for Emma, who came out as non-binary in 2021.
“My identity and being nonbinary is an embrace of many different parts of myself, the masculine and the feminine and everything in between,” they told The New York Times in December 2022. “It’s hard to be discovering something in yourself at the same time you’re navigating an industry that demands a lot of you, in terms of knowing who you are.”
